The Golden Sun games. Period.

w00t! First of the ZU tales crew to get in here. So besides Tales games, I like to play some Final Fantasy, Xenosaga, Dark Cloud is also a fun game...lets see...Chrono Trigger is always a cult favourite and alot of games from the Mana sereis.

Hmmm...I like, Baten Kaitos. I also like the Final Fantasy.

Golden Sun and Final Fatnasy X are easily my favourites

Paper Mario, by far. The gameplay was extremely fun, as was the entire game. It was fairly difficult, and giving you partners was a great idea, IMO.

And now they're making Super Paper Mario....*sigh* goodbye great RPG experiences...

EDIT: Now that I think about it, KH2 is definetely one of my favorites, too.

Hi all, I am new so bear with me.
I guess my favorite would be Zelda, Ocarina of Time.

If you want to go on the lighter side of RPGs, then definately Paper Mario. I couldn't say 1 or 2 though. Both are in a good light with me.

On the darker note though, I would have to go with Xenogears, Xenosaga, and Final Fantasy. Specifically, Xenogears, Xenosaga Episode I, and Final Fantasy VIII and IX.

star ocean is awsome Ive only seen it I like FF seires and WoW,chronno trigger.

Tales of Symphonia, Kingdom Hearts II(barely played the first. And I am amazed no one else mentioned KH before this), Sword of Mana, and Final Fantasies VII, VIII, and X. Star Ocean is pretty fun too, but I don't have much in that game.
I love RPGs. ^_^

* Looks around gasping* why am i the only one .... Super Mario Rpg :Legend of the Seven Stars i mean come on Mario staring in a game made by the Final Fantasy team. But atfer that i pick the Paper Mario series dunno like the battle system, Megaman Battle Network, and am partial to Legend of Dragoon.

Final Fantasy 7 ALL THE WAY!!!!!
Cloud, Sephiroth and Vincent are my second, third and fourth favourite characters of all time (following behind Link, of course).
The battle sequences are amazing but not too challenging as "Materia" is in that game.
The story behind Sephiroth, Cloud, Jenova and the Lifestream is very intriguing.
and what makes it even better is the FF7 movie that came out this year. "FF7: Advent Children"

yes it is Roll Playing Games are defined mostly by a level up system of some sort not always turn based like Final Fantasy or Star Ocean anything with a level up system basically although there are some exceptions to that rule.
