SSBM Glitches

Does anybody know any SSBM glitches? I already know 1, which is the infinite Super Scope, but I'd like to know if there's more.

OKay, 1, the black hole thing isn't a glitch. I think a guys even says an explanation in it (I can't really remember). The Infinite Super Scope glitch is even in there as well, but I'll say it anyway.

1. Get the Super Scope ()
2. Shoot 3 little bullets
3. Shoot 4 little bullets 3 times.
4. Then shoot 2 fully charged attacks.
5. THen charge up one more shoot, but in the middle of it, you have to get hit (doesn't who and how hard)

After you've done all this, you'll have infinite bullets.

Re: SSBM Glitches

The blackhole thing is a glitch.

Most annoying glitch of all time:

The the Ice climbers, use the escape roll toward an enemy. In the middle of the roll, hit the z-button and Nana will grab the enemy but then quickly let go and cancel the animation into a roll.

The person you grabbed will be frozen in place.

Re: SSBM Glitches

Wavedashing is also considered a glitch.

A glitch that I can never get the hang of. I wish I could. The characters that are the best at it are typically the ones I hardly ever use.

Re: SSBM Glitches

I never wavedash. But then again, I mostly use Link. Who I think has the worst wavedash in the game.

Not that it's a required skill or anything.

I thunk I know what you're talking about.

Have Ness use a fully charged PK Flash on Mr. Game and Watch while he's using his bucket (Down-B). Do that three times, then use Mr G'n'W's Down-B on Ness while Ness is using Magnet (Down-B).

Ness should explode or something, and die instantly.

Re: SSBM Glitches

I Know how to do the 300% damage glitch with Ness and GW.
1)You need Ness, GaW, and Roy
2)The GaW player needs to hold down B
3)Ness shoots three PK Flashes (B) into the bucket (GaW can release down B right now)
4)Use Roy's down B move and immediately tap B with GaW. (Roy should deflect the blast)

If done correctly you should do 300 damage or more.

Edit: The poster above beat me to it

Re: SSBM Glitches

When you slide across the ground by first moving the control stick diagnally (spelling?) and immediately tapping L or R.

Re: SSBM Glitches

I just tried the Ice Climber's rolling grab glitch and the infinite Super Scope glitch, and neither of the worked. It might be because I'm using the Australian version of SSBM?

The Ice Climbers glitch takes more than one try, even if done correctly, it has a 1/20 chance of actually working. It's fairly easy to do, it's just the odds have to work in your favor.

I'm actually surprised that people don't know what a wavedash is...well there's a first for everything.

The Super Wavedash (Samus Only)

To perform it, Lay a bomb, then hold the controller in one direction, just as you land from the laying the bomb quickly press the control stick in the other direction. It's important to note the move has nothing to do with the bomb. if you perform it right you will go a very far distance however it is important to release the control stick after you perform the move.

Re: SSBM Glitches

Here's some "useful" glitches from Gamefaqs.

Automatic Zelda/Shiek transformation in Event Mode

Normally, the trick in which you hold down A button while a stage is loading so you turn Zelda into Shiek doesn't work in Event Matches. There's an easy way around this, which is pausing the game after the Event Match has begun, holding A button down, and pressing Z (don't stop holding it down.) If done correctly, this'll reset the Match with you as Shiek. If you reset again, you'll turn back to Zelda unless you do the trick again.

Get KO's/Vs matches quickly and easily

To get lots of KO's and VS matches under your belt in a shorter amount of time, play a ''1 Stock Survival Test'' against the CPU. Make sure that you are player one (you can use any character) and Ness is in the 2nd slot. Set his CPU level to 9. Select ''Jungle Japes'' as your battlefield. When the fight begins, dont move. Ness will go up, over, and right into the river everytime. This is handy for quickly unlocking some of the secret characters and stages.

Peach Turnip Glitch

If two Peaches throw the exact same type of Turnip at each other at the exact same time, the turnips will hit each other, go straight up in the air, the hit each other and go straight up in the air again. This will continue until both Turnips fly off the top of the screen.

Same character, same color

Have the first player select the desired character, have player 2 hover the cursor above the character's portrait, then simultaneously deselect on player 1's controller and switch to the same color on player 2's controller. This allows you to have both player 1 and player 2 have the same character with the same color scheme.

Samus's Secret Throw

Samus has a secret throw that can be performed at any time. Its a bit more difficult to perform than Fox and Falco's secret taunts. Press Z repeatedly to extend her grappling hook but not so repeatedly as to shield. While pressing Z, rotate counter clockwise on the Control Pad. If done properly, her grappling hook will extend by three times. It will now remain this way until he is KOd (then you must redo the trick). The longer grappling hook is very useful. It won't grab opponents unless you press A or Z once it touches them. It will also home onto the nearest opponent if you hold L once firing it out. The grappling hook is also longer in the air which proves to be a much more useful recovery move than her Screw Attack (Up + B).

These are the only "glitches" I can think of (that haven't been said already).
