Final Fantasy

My friend and I were arguing about the first 3D game in the final fantasy series.
I said final fantasy 6 and he said final fantasy 7.

Which one was the first in 3D ?

I'm not really sure.... The only ones I've played are FFX,FFX-2, and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. Nothing below X... Sorry I can't be of assistance...

VII. That's what it's famous for. It was the Super Mario 64 of RPGs (SM64 pretty much defined what a platforming game should be in 3D).

VI was on the SNES. Not gonna get 3D on that.

Froogle. They stopped selling it new about a year ago. Some Mejiers have them, though.

And you don't have to start with VII. You could just as easily start with VIII or IX.

I happen to have seven at my house. it is not mine but my friend isin't getting it back You should start with eight anyways I find that one much better.

Have they stopped selling FFVIII new? I'd like to play it...

Yeah. Square-Enix stopped selling all Playstation games at one time, about a year and a half ago. You might find that VIII is a teeny bit rarer than finding VII new. Plenty of used versions of every version, though.
