How to reach for the starsLiterally in Rainbow Road [Video inside]

I'm pretty sure no one else has ever heard of this glitch before, so I'll try to explain it as best I can. First off, this glitch isn't advantageous in any way. In fact, it'll actually set you back a good lap and a half if you know what you're doing, but it's still interesting to be able to fly around space.

How can I Fly around the Course in Rainbow Road?

Step # 1: When you reach the loop section in the Rainbow Road course, press and release the 'R' trigger rapidly as you're holding down the 'A' button. The faster you press and release the 'R' trigger, the better the results.

Step # 2: You should continue traveling backwards or stall hanging upside-down as you continue to tap the 'R' trigger. In addition to tapping the 'R' trigger, hold down both the 'A' and 'B' buttons. You may start hearing your kart engine rev much louder than you've ever heard before and if you're completely upside-down, you'll see the smoke from your tires fly straight up.

Step # 3: After hanging upside-down for about 45 seconds, move closer to the right railing of the loop. Shortly after you touch the railing, you should plow right through it as if it weren't even there.

Step # 4: You can release the 'B' and 'R' buttons but continue to hold down the 'A' button. You can now fly around in space using the D-pad and literally 'reach for the stars'. While you may not be able to control your flight after you leave the track, you may be able to change your destination depending on what section of a railing you leave.
