Earthbound! (Anyone stilll play it?)

I recently got the ROM of Earthbound and found that it is one of the most fun games I have ever played! The game has a charm and quirkiness that I haven't seen in a game since. I absolutely love the game, just wanted to see if anyone else still plays the game.

Hmm. Earthbound. Great series, never played it myself. My friend has it but I haven't heard from him about it since we moved to Nevada.

Well I've definatley heard of it but never played it.
I wonder if they'll revive the series...

I'd love to see a new Revolution title for this game. Heck I'd even be happy if they adapted the orginal wuith new graphics. Although I suppose that would be just as hard to do as starting from scratch.

Accually, it's already been revived in Japan. Mother 3 was released last month, I believe, on GBA (Mother is the Japenese name for Earthbound). I've never played Earthbound, but I really want to. Here's hoping for a US release of Mother 3 and Earthbound on Virtual Console!

This is pretty wierd... I just started playing it! Im excited, Imma go play it now. Ill tell you where I am and such... I suppose...

Man, I love Earthbound. That's why I like Ness so much in SSBM, because of Earthbound.

You could just get an emulator to play the original.

Nope I never played it. But I remember when I was like 6 I saw the game box and it was huge and the game costed 70 something dollars.

I thought I'd really like Earthbound, but to be honest, it just bored me.

It was a fairly cute story, although I found my attention wandering whilst playing, especially during the battles.

Very dissapointing, especially with all of the good things I've heard about it.

The battles are a little dissappointing. I think it has to do with the fact that there are so many of them that it makes the whole thing tiresome.

It's not so bad once you become stronger, then you just auto-win battles. But I do dislike the battles, especially since some are so hard, and training is difficult.

Yeah, right now I'm on leel 29 with Ness, and stil lgettign better.
