Guitar hero

I myself play guitar and got this game. This game is pretty good, it makes you feel like you can really rock out. They also have a wide range of songs to choose from as well. Does anyone else play this game? What are some of your favorite songs? I personally like higher ground and bark at the moon.

You havent explained the game at all so how am i supposed to know what this game does?! Anyway i also play guitar and i enjoy it a lot.

I've heard alot about this game and have been wantong to play it alot. My friend says it's just like DDR except with a guitar, he actually thouht it was easy. But, if I play it but I can't play guitar for crap in real life am I gonna have a problem with the game?

sorry...I was all wrapped up in how good it was. You get a mini guitar controller with buttons and you use the buttons like frets. Each color on the neck of the guitar appears on screen and you push the button to activate a note on screen I guess. Its kinda hard to explain but I think you can catch my drift. I seriously think if your into music or a good time pick this game up.

Dont worry at all. this game has several modes and is easy for new players. You dont need to know how to play real life guitar as well, I just do. the game also supports a tutorial for beginners. Hope you enjoy!

Awesomeness. I don't play guitar, and I'm better at this game than my older brother who does play guitar. I can't belive some people have never heard of it. My favorite songs to play are, Killer Queen, Spanish Castle Magic, Frankenstein, Godzilla, and Texas Flood. You must try this game. MUST

Man I love this game!!!!!......well I play guitar so how shouldnt I...well anyways....I love the whole idea.....although i find it too hard to do all the stupid hammerons and switching to the oj and back to blue, and red...especially on expert....its so insane....anyways....I say 10/10.....I really recommend it to anyone who loves music...or guitar.....

I love pretty much all the songs....especially Frankenstein....its so challenging and hard....wait....exclude...the Madonna one at the top.

I haven't played this game, but I saw someone in a shop playing it, and it does look awesome. If I ever get around to getting a PS2 I'll get this game.

Same - it was shocking to see people complain about the lack of details at the start of the topic. You can't walk into a major electronics retailer these days without finding someone playing it. It was also one of the four big winners at the GCDA (along with Shadow of Colossus, Nintendogs, and Psychonauts).

Awesome game. Totally addictive, and a must-have for the PS2. Doesn't help with real-world guitar playing skills, but that's true for all music games... though it's fun watching people think that it does.

Meh, I play an actual guitar, and can rock out with my electric just fine. So this game doesn't appeal to me much at all.

I've played this game at Best Buy for hours on end.... I think I kind of pissed off my girlfriend... kinda ditched her to play it. Oh well. =P

Its really addicting, and much easier than playing an actual insterment. It has a Ramones song, which is nice, but its really really easy. (Which is to be expected. Its a Ramones song, afterall.)

At first look the game looks really corny. Even the name gets you thinking, "great. Im going to get to play anything from Kiss to Metalica. ", but it actually turns out really cool. You can even play as a Brittish Oi! punk!

Looks pretty good. I don't really play guitar, but my friends do, and they said it was a really fun game but it was hard. I'm not that interested in music yet... so I probably won't get it...

It's a fun game, I have it. I just full comboed bark at the moon on hard yesterday, but expert's still a bit dificult. I recomend this game if you like DDR, Beat mania, or any other bemani games.

Well I have played guitar hero, and I have to say that it is just one of those games that you have to play to fully appriciate everything about it.

It is such and awesome game to play, and I know that most of us can't afford to buy a $70 bundle pack, but trust me if you mange to scrape together the money it will be one of the best games you have ever played.

It's pretty bad ass. Playing Symphony of Destruction is fun.

played it for the first time yesterday, gonna buy it tomorrow nuff said XD
