US and UK game release dates

We all know that games tend to come out over in the US two weeks to a month before the UK
but one thing i've recently noticed; Black, an xbox and ps2 game,
comes out over here in the UK on the 24th of Feb but in the States it's not out till the 28th
whats goin on in the world?! i know it's only four days, but it's still very strange...

They're a UK developer, so it makes sense. Doesn't having a UK developer normally guarantee that the game at least comes out concurrently?

The Minish Cap came out in the UK before the US but mainly it is the other way around. I've read that it's due to localiaation, if that's the case why did FSA take so long to come out in the UK but didn't have any spelling changes?

Doesn't really bother me anyway, as long as we get the games in the end.

Well, UK generally has the same release dates as the rest of Europe, there are a lot of languages to be translated into in Europe, unlike in America where there are only a couple of languages to be translated to.

And usually the games don't support multiple languages anyways. I think Nintendo just recently started to print things in English, French, and now Spanish. But like I said, the game remains in universal English.

Well you know, the us is more lekly a larger cash cow for that sorta thing ya know? So thats why it comes here first. If a uk game didn't come out in the UK first that would be bull.
