Question about the X-box 360

Does anyone know if the X-box 360 pack (not the core), still comes with a microsoft media remote control? I heard these were for a limited time only, and I just got my X-box 360 about a week ago. I can't remember if mine came with one or not...can someone help me out?

My house is sort of a mess, and I may have lost the remote. It's really none of your business actually...I just need my question answered, please don't ask for details .

It's a bit more complicated. I will not explain because that would be going off topic. Please stop posting about what what I should do, I just need my question answered .

You really should keep your room more tidy so as not to lose things in the future.

Oh you were expecting an answer? Bwahahahahaha.

How stupid can your posts get? You dont have the controller, that means you wont have it.

You're all being jerks to this kid. Lay off.

We can't answer your question. Try looking at the box if you still have it. Hisbrother is just being a idiot by assuming everyone keeps their boxes forever. Meh. It's not our fault if someone types their message while sitting right next to their 5 year old 6 foot refridgerator box that they've been saving for a special occasion.

Fell of the back of the truck, did it?

The remotes were an extremely limited-time bonus, and it's over now. Do you know what shipment wave your 360 was from?

Re: Question about the X-box 360

So you guys will quit flamming me...I opended the box, took out the stuff, showed my dad all the cool features, (in my messy house) put them back, 1 week later I open it, (can't remember now if the box came with the remote) find that there is an extra bag...yes I did throw out the box. Now can all of you please quit flamming me, I don't know why is it so hard just to answer a question...please do not ask me any more questions about my life, or tell me what I shoud do. It is to none of your business. Just please answer my question. (i'm saying all of this the nicest way possible ).

I'm not exactly sure...all I know is my dad bought it from Best Buy, about a week or so ago. We went there everyday, sometimes they had it, sometimes they didn't have it. I think they brought a couple X-box 360's in every week or so?...

Read before you post. As already mentioned, that isn't true. The remote was a limited time bonus.

Chances are yours didn't come with a media remote then. There's a distant chance it was a holdover, but Best Buy managers were already being blasted by upper-management to prevent hording (which is how I got my core unit at launch).

Is there any particular reason you need it? Unlike the original Xbox, you can play DVDs and other media without the media remote by using a regular controller. Of course, that might not help if you're really keen on having that remote, or if you're trying for a refund.
