Viewtiful Joe anyone
I love Viewtiful Joe it's such a hard game, but at somepoints it gets to fu****g frustrated
I wan't to destroy my Ps2. Anyway Viewtiful Joe1 was phonominal awswome game Ps2 version it was cool how you could unlock Dante. Viewtiful Joe2 it was pretty good but they destroyed with team up mode with Silvia. Levles of Viewtiful Joe 2 were obviously rushed, and not frustrating like the first. The bosses were also easier once you fight them there moves never change making it easy to predict there every move. Althoght they didn't lack on the Six machine levels. I would give it a7/10. This is just in my oppinion. Then they made Viewtiful Joe Scratch witch was an awswome game it was creative with the touch screen. Viewtiful game. Then I go out to buy viewtiful Joe red hot rumble HATE IT STUPID GAME!!!!!!!!! They just wanted to make something put no effeort into creating it. In other words it was a waist of money.O/10 Although it is set up as if it were supersmash. More charecters, but the story mode is terreible. I mean the trailers made it look like it was good. So what do you think about the vieftiful Joe games Feel free to explain why you like or not. Last edited by Zeldafan1; 02-18-2006 at 03:35 PM. |

Re: Viewtiful Joe anyone
To me, Veiwtiful Joe just sucks. Especially 2. I mean, the plot, Silvia, the bosses, Silvia, the music, Silvia, the stupid gun that shoots out hearts, Silvia, and lets not forget Silvia.
Silvia=horrible character. >__<

Re: Viewtiful Joe anyone
Viewtiful Joe is a masterpiece in my opinion. It really brought me back to the old school days of yore yet still managed to throw in a couple of cool new ideas, most notably Joe's VFX powers. The game was also incredibly stylish and its cliched B-movie plot and cheesy dialogue was awesome.
2 was just as good, but suffered from the fact that it didn't really offer anything new. Also I prefered it when Joe went it alone. Still, I'd rank the two games as gems from the 128 but era.

Re: Viewtiful Joe anyone
I've only played the first one, and it could've been better. It has more style than ten average games, but as a game it's just too boring. The fights don't feel different enough, because there are so few enemy types. And the battle system's broken: I soon found myself using only one move that works wonders against any enemy. The game's also too short. I know, you can re-play it to unlock stuff, but having to go through all the stages several times again only adds to the repetitiveness.
Somehow I did like the game surprisingly much, though. It does have its moments, like the first half of episode three and the ending (including the final battle). The cutscenes and their B-movie-ish feel were great. EDIT: And the difficulty was a definite plus.

Re: Viewtiful Joe anyone
I*'ve played every VJ but Red Hot Rumble, and so far, they have all been great. VJ is one of my favorite series now.
