I cant wait for Kingdom Hearts two, its gonna be awsome. I loved the original and thought it was one of the best fusions of gaming liscence ever. I cant wait for it to come out and play it, just gotta hope its not sold out when it comes out.

Re: Kingdom Hearts II Appreciation Thread: It couldn't come at a better time.

I bought my PS2 just for Kingdom Hearts, the game was superb. (And I'd recommend getting a PS2 anyway because it has countless titles worth playing.) Chain of Memories wasn't so great, but it had a good story and it linked the two games, so I got it just for that sake.

Kingdom Hearts II ships on the 28th, so it won't be in stores till the 29th, so don't waste your time going to get it on the 28th.

Well after watching my friend fight him---it's very possible---he beat Sephiroth and I kid you not-without using ANY items...and in under 5 minutes-he was tearing him apart (you have to be at a HIGH level and probably wnat the Ultima Weapon to fight him)

I really doubt that. Sephiroth is difficult to beat, even at level 99, and I'm not saying this out of experience because I wasn't even 99 when I faced him.

Ha! I'm glad someone bumped this thread back up again.

I don't think I'll ever beat Sephiroth. But I can live with myself, because I'm not terribly fond of optional bosses to begin with.

Re: Kingdom Hearts II Appreciation Thread: It couldn't come at a better time.

He's not all that hard. Just max out your stats, heal when you can and remember these tips.

When he warps to the corner of the room to do his sin harvest move, super glide over to him and whack him with your key blade to cancel it out.

Never hit him with a full combo, or he'll disapear and hit you from behind. Insted, stop at the second to last hit, and when he starts that fire move use ars arcanum to do major damage.

When he summons meteor, just dodge the meteors and hit him if you get the chance. Super glide to dodge him.

When meteor stops he should have only a small amount of life left. Don't ever stop super gliding or he'll hit you. Hit him when you get a chance and use ars arcanum. He should then have almost no life left, so ars arcanum him again to win.

Re: Kingdom Hearts II Appreciation Thread: It couldn't come at a better time.

Only ten more days til the game comes out ^_^ Just wanted to mention, also, that IGN.com has a new KH2 article out, as well as some new videos from the American version. They all feature the new character, Roxas. There are two really worth seeing, one showing Seifer from FFVIII, and the other, I didn't realize til they said his name, had Setzer from FFVI in it! I guess I'm just used to seeing him as a SNES sprite, but he's one of my favorites from that game ^^; Anyways, check those out if you're interested.

...now excuse me while I go all fangirly *drools over Setzer*

Re: Kingdom Hearts II Appreciation Thread: It couldn't come at a better time.

Yeah, I've seen those videos. Very nice. I really enjoy the Twilight Town music. It fits the scene very well. I am also EXTREMELY glad to see a greater number of non-playable characters. In addition, they are much more active as well. They actually move around, unlike the NPCs in Traverse Town in the first game, who stood in the exact same spots the entire game. I also really like the addition of unique command/combat menus for each world. Twilight Town's is pretty cool, with the mechanical trains and all. Another nice touch.

Setzer looks pretty good, though perhaps a bit too metrosexual for my taste. I know he's a pretty boy and everything, but his shirt looks like something out of my sister's closet. But that aside, he's very well done, including his voice work.

I'm very excited to get this game, needless to say. I'm very anxious to see more and more major sources release their reviews, especially Gamespot.
