Jack's back for more...again

Jack Thompsons back for more. The next game on the firing line..Killer7. Honestly, who's getting sick of this guy? Apparently his websites been taken down, maybe due to gamers rallying against him. Okay, maybe not.

His website used to be www.stopkill.com. Gone now. That doesn't stop him from his pointless campaign....Next thing we know he'll be asking to give super mario sunshine a 7+ rating. I can see it now..."Mrs.Clinton, we have a serious problem here" "im listening." "Im always after scandolous, and often misinformed stories" "Well. my 5 year old kid was playing this weird game called super mario sunflower (this is him being uninformed, not me being stupid) "Go on, this is interesting" "Well, after he came out of his room, he picked up a super soaker and shot it right at my fifteen dollar carpet!" "MY GOD!" "Jesus, i know. scared the hell out of me. Anyway, when i questioned him, he said he was trying to fly! So now that my kid is safely at military school (no video games can hurt him there, no siree), we can take the case to those bum sacks at nintendo..." *conversation fades out as i fall, mind shuts down to protect itself*

People should just really stop paying attention to this guy. He's just a crazy old man who's only well known because of his big mouth.

Despite how long his "campaign" agianst the gaming industry has been going on now he's gotten nothing accomplished. So why people even bother recordning news on this guy anymore is beyond me.

He's been going after Killer 7 since not long after release.

Ignore the Thompson. The more attention you pay to him, the more power he has. He doesn't have any real power. He doesn't hold any real sway. The Clintons and Liebermans of the world hold far more power... and they know Jack is full of ****.

I'm just annoyed at him... Games don't kill people, guns and society do.

I think the reason people pay so much attention to him is purely out of comic releif. I don't blame 'em, its a little hard to take the guy seriously and I've found a lot of the piss taking of this guy and his campaign to be quite funny so far. He's like the gaming industries very own clown! How can you not love him

That;s what i thought. Once. I hate people like this. In case anybody cares. But anyway, do you think he''l see the funny side? *sends very funny email to Jack Thompson, praising him for bringing gaming to the masses and hepng sell loads of copies of GTA and killer7*

Thompson has NO right to attack a game that was given a mature rating when it was initially released, and still keeps that mature rating.

"Killer 7 never once warns the player of what they are going to see, forcing the poor childen to engage in killing evil terrorists!"

"Umm... mr. thompson sir... Killer 7 does infact give a warning during the games boot up, and also sir, the game is in fact rated M for mature audiences only"

Well I've sent the email to him. Some guy of another board thought I should... I got an email back tellng me that he had received my message, and would read it at the first possible opportunity.It was an automated reply, so I would say I'm just waiting for him to check his emails.

Probably eventually, I've heard a lot less from him as times gone by so I think thats a case that less people are paying any attention to him, so it will then just be a matter of time before he either gives up or find himself talking to a brick wall.

Oh well, nobody will listen to him. He'll never be able to stop the game being sold, or people playing it.

But I guess that he's got to do what he believes is right...

The thing that gets me, jacks gloriously amateurish site in brazen white, red and blue colours has an adress of www.stopkill.com. This is all well and good and Jack's crusade for anti-violence is in his eyes a noble one. But everytime I see that i read it as "Stop,KILL!" - as in a command from jack as some imaginary drill instructor.Perhaps it's because my innocent young mind has been corrupted by violent videogames that I perceive it this way. Or perhaps Jack isn't that good with words. I mean, surely www.stopkilling.com would be better and more clear cut? Jack's wild gesticulations are getting to the point where im wondering if he's not some sort of viral marketing campaign FOR ESRB, Rockstar, EA and capcom. I mean, the more he shouts and points, the less and less credible he's becoming and the stronger the counter-argument in favour (violent or otherwise) becomes.
