I'm happy to hear that there will be CG scenes after the missions/levels, because Shadow lacked alot of what I was really hyped for. I'm glad to see the game shaping up.

Are you stupid? Every gaming mag or site always hype up games when it comes to hands-ons and previews for increased traffic. They don't want to negatively criticize games, because, like I said, they want people to come back for more info, thus increasing their traffic.

Never trust previews. Always wait for the final product.

I'd rather have a real Sonic game than some idiotic spin-off like this one. The snowboarding scene in Sonic 3 was cool and fun, but they're milking it for all it's worth. Shame, really: every idiotic, extended mini-game that gets put out could be a small segment of a much larger game, but instead we get short-changed. I don't think Sonic Team deserves anyone's money for their last few efforts; the value simply isn't there.

As I explained in my post, they're trying to milk in on the cool factor that was introduced with the snowboard in Sonic 3. In that game, you actually do go faster while snowboarding than while running.

Actually, you'd go faster when running because when I used debug mode to get back up on the hill he went really fast. And he has boards because the other characters arn't as fast.

I have to say, it looks great. The tricks system looks pretty good and the visuals
look sweet. Looks like there is not enough characters at the moment, though.

Meh, it looks good but I still prefer the old skool Sonic, like when they used to be their own company. Sonic Rush wasn't all that bad, it was actually alot of fun, but these 3d sonic games haven't been any good.

i really like the 3D sonics and this one looks pretty cool too. Kirby Air Ride worked didnt it? i did at first think the boards were strange but they seem pretty cool. and theyre hover boards. there's no sign of snow in the game at all.

I hate it I think it's not that good why make a sonic game that doesn't
stick to the story mode. The only Sonic game I am looking forward too is

Sonic Riders is just a waist.

No-one actually said that it was a remake of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog is it's working name, like Zelda GC was for TP, or Dolphin was for Gamecube. They remade it when creating Sonic Advance.

Anyway, I think this'll be pretty good. Sonic is my favorite VG Series, I've never seen one of the Sonic games I haven't liked. Especially if they're 3D. The adventuring is better than side-scrolling to me.

Riders looks fun enough, obviously its just a new Sonic R (the R is even in the name!), so I'll give it a shot when it comes out.
Thunderslf, since you know a lot about 3d Sonic games, is Adventure DX any good?
I can only replay the levels in 2: Battle so many times, so I'm thinking of buying it.
