Revolution's Virtual Console

An official survey conducted for Nintendo of America may shed new light on Revolution's "Virtual Console" concept.
The website www.classicgamer.com took part in the online questionnaire, which offered a more in-depth look at the game download system for Nintendo's next-generation console than has previously been seen.
The survey even featured mocked-up artwork representing how the graphical user interface for the process may look and function.
The concepts below are by no means final, but nevertheless Zanthus prepared these materials based on direction from Nintendo of America and therefore they should not be discounted.

The "mock-ups" are ugly, I hate the colors. But the're mock ups so you don't have to worry. Those are alot of good classic games though.

I don't know if this has been discussed, I searched but found nothing so here it is.

Re: Revolution's Virtual Console

Revolution may rival the greatness of the N64. This page made me realize that downloading could get old. I mean, how many Nintendo games can you download before you've played all the ones you've dreamed of playing?

Aye. I've encountered a similar feat in *coughemulatingcough* RPGs. The mock up is pretty ugly, and the list of games doesn't really impress. For me, the Revolution's virtual console will mean nothing unless it also taps into the Gameboy family of systems' games. I've owned a NES, SNES, and N64. There aren't any titles I really need to play.

Re: Revolution's Virtual Console

It looks pretty good and Nintendo will win over loads of retro gamers onto the Revolution.
