DDR Mario Mix

Hey folks!
Anybody know why the DDR Mario Mix game was discontinued?

yes, it just came out, but the game has been discontinued for a reason i dont know.
if u go on ebay they're selling the game for over $100.

joystiq has this information about the game. You've got to be quick when other die hard nintendo fans are invovled. Anyway I bought the game for Mr Spork and he seemed to enjoy it so go get it if its your kind of game.

I very much enjoyed it, Fireball. This game has not been discontinued, there was a rumour that it was, but Nintendo have since clarified that in the joystiq article that Fireball has posted. Very enjoyable game.

What songs are in it?

some nintendo songs (mostly from mario) and some other crappy songs like twinkle twinkle little star and other cheesey songs thats the only thing i dont like bout the game. some of the songs are really bad lol

It got a 3/5 on X-Play, so it must be alright. They take some original Mario songs and make it Techno. I might get it, if I have extra money(have to buy TP).

i have a problem just getting a gamecube. not many places in adelaide sell them anymore, does anyone from aus here know a shop they got theres at?

Yeah... never played DDR Mario Mix, for I have no Gamecube... But I hate when Nintendo does stupid stuff with the songs... it also occurs in Yoshi Topsy Turvy. That game's shorter than the Minish Cap...

It has been discontinued. Believe me, I work at a GameStop, and everytime somebody comes in looking for it, we say that we are sorry, but it has been discontinued. The reason is because Nintendo didn't think they could keep up with demand, so they decided to discontinue it. It sounds crazy, but its the truth.

I started to belive you, and then I relized that you work at gamestop.

Anyway, I doubt that that's true for more reasons than that. Nintendo is a huge company. That's like saying that Microsoft couldn't keep up with the demaned, and so they stopped making them. Nintendo will do everything in their power to get it back. They need to have a big game to kick them back up. It does sound crazy, give me a credible site that says it's discontiued.

DDR Mario Mix exists. I played it yesterday. I felt more like I was stepping on a pad than I felt I was dancing. I suppose it's something you have to get in to.

I own it now, I think it is a pretty good game. Gets your heart pumping and gives you a little cardio workout.

Okay, I've never been a big fan of the DDR games, so I'll admit that to begin with.

My next thing would be that this probably defies all thoughts of stupidity with a story added in. How the heck did they do that? It's like a freaking genius took a crack break and came up with something so retarded it was awesome.

The story sucks. Seriously. It is generic, and it helps move the game along, but its bad. The dancing is nice I suppose. *Sigh* I can never get used to these things.
