Help on my own games

how can i make games like sprites and stuff? i bet i won't be able to make anything 3d but oh well, after i while i might! whoever helps me i'll try and send you the game. if i know how to put up links by then..... ok so little help?

To make sprites, alls you have to do is go into Microsoft Paint... and well, sprite. Just use pixel art and make character sheets for your videogames. Simple as that.

If you want to make games, a simple (and free) program that allows you to is Game Maker.

Anywho, BB_11 hit the nail on the head. What you're going to want is Game maker. It's a really simple drag&drop program. You can probably make a simple Breakout game in about a day and a half.

I would suggest highly that you get that, and try to make something really simple first.

soon i can show you the main character ( or who might be ) if somebody tells me how to make a link to the paint picture! and this isnt really that simple how do i make a game like zelda? all i see here is mazes first person shooters and others not like zelda.

If you want to make zelda, first you might want to get some zelda sprite sheets (just google it). Alot of people use A Link to the Past sprites for their games.

Tutorials galore, huh? I would reccomend reading through most of those so you can get an idea of what the Game Maker engine is capable of.

Really, you could've got to the tutorial section without me, I mean come on, its a big button that says "tutorials"

Anyway, excuse my bluntness, but you are being Short Sighted. It takes practice to learn.

^That is impatience, impatience is bad. If you are impatient, don't bother trying to make a game. A half-decent zelda game maker game'll take you a couple of months at the very least.

^I assume you are referring to the fact that you cant sprite for your life, correct? Well, go to google and type in "link to the past zelda sprites", it'll give you an answer.

Oh, and learn some grammar, it took me more time than neccesary to make an assumption of what your post meant...

yeah... most first games you wont be needing complex sprites, like Link, just some simple blocks.

Hi, Its Been A While But I am Using RPG Maker..I might be Able To make An XP before my Trial Runs out..But After That All you Get From Me Is RPG 2000 And RPG 2003's..
Unless I get The Full Version Of XP!
