XBox 360 Premier

Hey, just wondering if anybody here went out and bought the 360 today or last night and how you liked it. I was watching the special on G4 and they seemed to like every game on the system but Maddon Football. So what, if you have it, do you think? And what game[s] do you have?

I might get it for Christmas. I'm in no rush and there isn't really anything else that I want so it would be neat to have.

I was pissed that Morrowind was delayed, but Perfect Dark Zero looks amazing. A lot of people were doubting Rare, but it's been getting good reviews all around and is one of the games I really want. I'll probably get that, Call of Duty 2, and maybe Madden or something else for some great multiplaying times.

I have it with Call of Duty 2. It's a-*****ing-mazing. I've been playing it all morning. Highly recommended.

I don't know how many we got, since I don't go to work until 3pm, but I think we only have 3 left after we meet all the reservations. One is going in the demo kiosk, so I'm willing to bet the remainig two will be sold before I get there. I know EBgames, which is just upstairs from us, is only making 13% of their reservations. Its like PS2 all over.

That being said, I don't think it will sell that well. I mean, its 300$ for just the basic kit, without a harddrive, backwards compatability, or online capability. I predict it will be just a flash in the pan.

I was there and I got my 360 with me. My eyes are red from staying up all night. I'm going to go take a 2 min. nap and keep playing MY Call of Duty 2. uiriosjptgjwee

I didnt get one today, but I did place an order for it(It may not get here till Feb. But i could care less) I got a bundle with the Premium system and 4 games. So im looking forward to it. Hopefully it will ship soon.

Me and my cousin were going to get one last night be he had a big test today so we didn't. We might today though, my Aunts buying them. Otherwise I would wait, but now I can't wait.

Is it worth buying one?

I may consider if it does well, and it looks good!

wow-- on ebay people are buying the 360' for 1000's!!! its crazy!!! my firned actually stayed in a line from 8:00 pm - 8:00 am and got one.. i think hes going to sell it on ebay and make a 400-600 doller profit!! its crazy!! as for me.. i dont think i will get the 360, untill another 3 years from now when its only 200 bucks!! :p

EDIT: i also saw on the news how people were waiting and line and didnt even get their 360's. i think its quite silly.. like there was a guy who took a sick day form work, and didnt even get one.. and i also saw a classic mom and her spoiled son who didnt get one... quite interesting and eye opening-- i bet microsoft is loving this right now, except for the ebay situation..

Im going to get it for christmas. I have a queston what package should I get, if I get the one without the Harddrive could I just put any old computer harddrive in it, or do you need special software? I just want to know what to get.

You should get the premium package. If you do the math, it is cheaper than the core system. You save about a lot of money. Also, you need a special hard drive for the 360.

Now, my post. I got up at 1:00 a.m. and I haven't slept since. I waited outside of Circuit City for 10 hours so they can tell me, "I'm sorry folks, we didn't get as many as we thought we would get. We only have four premiums and five cores. There are four more cores that you can pick up later at four 'o clock." They gave the people in line vouchers for it and, I was lucky enough to be the last one to end up with a core system. No, I'm not a crack addict but, I didn't wait for ten hours for nothing. So, I go at four and guess what? They can't find them! They said they will get premiums tomorrow and they have one reserved for me. So, tomorrow, is my day to play Call of Duty 2, which is already in my possesion.

Yea... they don't care about the ebay thing because technecly they aren't losing any money. But anyway, Microsoft is doing the same thing Sony did with the PS2. They didn't make enough of them for the demand. It's probably some marketing scheme that they thought of to get the demand up so high that when they do make more people will swarm all over them, but I really hope it backfires on them because it is a really sneaky way of buisiness.

Man, I wish I had a 360 now. I'd sell it because I could really use the extra dough. This does remind me exactly of what happened when the PS2 came out.

I want one. But, I know for a fact I won't be getting one anytime soon.

I was at wal*mart and people waited from 5:00 am to midnight to get their 360's. I am getting one for christmas, and getting the new tony hawk game for it. (Yes, it is for 360 to, I promise)

I waited in line all night, and had the sweet satisfaction of being first in line. I took it home and opened it, i held it for a few minutes then my mom kicked me off to school, so I had to wait untill i got home before I could play it. My god is it ever sweet! I got the Standard one, so it came with all the good stuff! I bought Project Gotham Racing 3 and GUN. I wanted Call of Duty 2, but the didnt have it in. I'll be getting it in a few weeks.

Xbox 360 comes out on March 2nd here... Its crazy to what people will spent to get it a couple months early.
