Difficulty of Soul Calibur III
I want to know what everyone else thinks of the difficulty level in SC3. I've been playing it since it came out and I have only been able to clear Sophitia's story mode. I've tried playing with the other characters, and even adjusted the difficulty to the lowest possible setting. I've come up with this analysis:
Story mode: HARD Chronicles of the Sword: Even worse. Character Creation: Dissapointing. Any thoughts on this?

Re: Difficulty of Soul Calibur III
Well, exscuuuse me for being a mere mortal. Seriously, I hate it when people who are really good at games look down on people like me who aren't so good, just because they think that meanless games are some reflection of the person. I don't want to start a flame war, so can someone please close this thread?

Nobody is going to close this thread just because you were flamed. Anyways, why was the character creation system a disapointment? It looks pretty good to me.

Re: Difficulty of Soul Calibur III
I just found it dissapointing because a minimal ammount of items were availible at the outset of the game. Not really a big problem, but I found trying to create a character that looked the way I wanted to be a little hard. I also wanted to see some way to adjust the character's bodytype/proportion so that the character could me thinner/more muscluar/whatever. Or for a female character control bust size. And height, most importantly. Short vs. tall, etc. And the ammount of voices that you can select for the character, and the quality of the ones that were there, was a little lacking. Having done some work in the voice-over industry myself, I know it's not hard to get different actors, or if you're really tight on budget, get the same actor to do a different voice. That was probably an over-complicated answer to a simple question.
And I just wanted to close the thread so a flame war didn't start, becuase those don't benefit everyone, just to clear the air. (Even though it wouldn't really be a war if I didn't take place... but I do have kind of a short fuse... I'll shut up now.)

As far as the diffuclty goes, yes, this one has the best A.I. yet. (not that I even fight it very often). and as far as the C.C. mode goes....it's horrible. The only thing you get to customize is how the character looks. You can create your own movelists, which is truely the only thing that would make your character unique anyway.

You would think so. To suck at a game, is nothing to get all riled up about. I explained that in the post you just quoted. I think he just sucks at the game. That isn't an insult, it's honesty.

Yeah, I realize that, and I'm sorry for gettin' all bent out of shape. Just..... for the sake of what remains of my self-esteem, could you word it a little more... gently? Please?
I sound like a whinny brat now, don't I?
