Prince of Persia The two thrones

Well Prince of Persia i thin is coming out near christmas like it usually does soo i was thinking why don't we have a be discussion of 3 people saying how were going to hate this and love this anyway heres whats going to happen this time around

The Prince comes back to Babylon after defeating the empress of sands but for some weird reason shes back in this game but gets killed like 2 min. in (don't ask me why i don't know)

-The prince has two sides a good side (pretty much the same as POP 1 you know dagger Aand the like

-And the bad side he has spiky hair and a whip called the daggertail (almost like IVY's weapon in Soulcalibur)

-Theres going to be a struggle with good prince and bad prince

-NEW chariot races woot woot

New speed kill mechanics

-What i liked about the first two was the great storyline it had really great characters with alot of personality I'm not asure if it will be the same with this game

Ya I am a huge fan of this game. I even have the one for the NES lol. Well I can't wait for this to come out.

just incase you people didnt know. To become the dark Prince you need to find fire and to transform back into the good Prince you need the Water of Life

Although the whole dagger thing. Im not sure if its the dagger of time but it probably is. Ill spoiler this for those who havent played the games:

I dont get it though. The emporess sacrifices herself to save your life, thus releasing the sands and giving you the power of them or the dagger, something like that, or its just to reverse time. So that makes it so that every chick that the Prince gets with, dies. So I'm expecting another chick to be in this one if there is going to be a sequel.

Also, the dark Prince is a sand creature so you get like some wierd halo around you and all, O well that would be cool. The dark prince is also more bloody then the light Prince so I bet I can guess what people will want to be.

Then there is the one hit kill thing. That is gunna be sweet. i've seen some screen shots and video demo things and man the killings are so Sweetly executed (Im not saying that killing is good).

Well i got to cut it off here. I might add more someother time.

Prince of Persia Sands of Time was one of my favorite games ever. It was flawless in every aspect of the game. Except for this one glitch I encountered...

Warrior Within was a terrible game. The chases got my blood pumping with the Godsmack blasting and the screen going black and white. But, the killing was boring and was a little to hard for my tastes.

If Two Thrones is more like Sands then I will probably buy it and cuddle with it in bed. If it's more like Warrior then I will kick it out of my house and keep all its stuff.

Goron thers probably gonna be a little bit of both of the two games in the 1 because of light and dark prince and yes probably there is gonna eb no rock and roll music...i hope

Anyway the new ai are supposed to be really smart so that should be a little better so you don't kil the bad guys in like 1 carzy move

But the speed kill is going to be a life savor for me since i usually like to see where i end up in next other than sit there figting bad guys over and over again

I LOVE Prince of Persia. Sands of Time was really special. The detail,
the acrobatics, the puzzles were just perfect. I loved it.
Then we go on to Warrior Within. Still an amazing game. The fighting,
though nothing superb, was still better than the basic Sands of Time
fighting system. But Warrior Within was a bit too mainstream. What,
with Godsmack playing the soundtrack and all (the music sucked).

If you ask me, The Two Thrones is looking like to be a mix between
Sands of Time and Warrior Within. A lot of frantic fighting with a lot
of puzzling. I like the look of the speed-kill feature, but it makes all
the fighting seem a bit... meaningless. I am also glad to say that the
Rock music has been (hopefully) banished from Prince of Persia.

Anywho, I look forward to it. It sure is looking to be a great game, that
I will enjoy.

They did overdo the rock but, it was perfect during the chase scenes. I don't know about you but, for me they got my adreniline pumping and I literally felt that if I didn't manage to get away I would be killed. But, other than during the chase scenes the rock felt out of place.

Well it seems to be the theme here that everyone like that speed kill the will be emplimented in TTT, I know that I will be looking forward to it.

I just finished the sands of time like a week ago and just dived into the warrior within and I do have to agree that WW is a little to hard for my likeing that the movements are not as smooth as in the SOT. The biggest mistake that I made was playing SOT on the PS2 and getting WW for the Gamecube, dang that make the controls hard.

I definitly thought that the fighting was truly amazing it would have been better if there were smarter AI. But in TTT there supposed to cal for backup if you don't kill them fast enough which is sweet

That's the only time I really liked the rock music. You're right, the
rock music during the Dahaka chases really got you out of your chair.
But when the rock music kicks in when you're doing a calm, relaxing
puzzle, you feel like you have to rush. I didn't like that.

Now I am only about 30% into Warrior within right now but I noticed that to, when you are trying to complete a puzzle or a room the rock music that you have to listin to make you want to go faster. The other thing that I noticed was there are alot more eniemes to face during your efforts during the puzzles. Like in SOT you would complete a room then have to go into a differant room where there were a ton of enemies. In WW you get to differant points in the room and you have to defeat enemies all along the way which is annoying and gets you life down fast. BTW those ninja *****es are really a pain in the ass to take down, had any of you found a good way to kill em?

Ah, my strategy against them, was to grab them and fling them off a cliff.
If there are no cliffs about, then grab them and chop them in half.
What console are you playing the game on, by the way?

Turkish gold the easiest way to kill them is to grab them and use them as a human sheild since the other ninjas can't attack you from behind because of the glitch lol bondage ninjas rule

AND shocking news like every bad guy girl has like no shirt on even the old lady ones *shudders*

He is playing it on the Cube. The fact is that Warrior isn't as good because there are way to much enemies. I am stuck in a Library and keep dying because there are about 12 really hard enemies I have to face. As for the ninja girls I would use there advice. If there are even two of them I usually die.

goron knight the library is the hardest fight battle but you have to use your stop time hardcore manuever you learn because thats the only way i can do it. Also if the girls are jumping around 2 much just roll when there behind you

Ok thanks for the advice I will try the human sheild thing that was suggested, but I have to learn how to do it first. Sorry for getting of track and what not about TTT, but I am sure that it will be a sweet game. The speed kills are easily the one thing that I am looking forward to the most, well that and playing as the dark prince.
