You obviously underestimate my skills nes speedrunner. I’ve won way more matches than you and I don’t recollect a circumstance in which you grasped first place in a race. If you race a teh pwnerer and spank him very hard it is nes speedrunner, if you lose or possibly almost lose it is me you are racing. Another way to tell us apart is that nes speedrunner cant even boost at the start of the race, so if that ever happens, you are racing him.

Very nice guys. I added Obsidian yesterday and Davidius right now. Hope to see you guys online soon. Sadly, the most I've ever played with was just one other person, and that's just not as fun as 3. Hopefully we'll get an intense 4 player race going, haha.

well mario kart ds was released here (UK) yesterday, but the wi-fi USB connecter is nowhere to be seen, i'v asked in gamestation, n they said nintendo are having some difficulties with the website, and they aren't goin issue the USB conecters till it's up and running... ..

I have all of you in and yet none of you ever go to 'friend' and play. I waited the other day the entire time my friend light was blinking and no one came.

Yeah, it's always difficult to get people to play. So far I've raced a lot of you, but it's always one on one. There has been two times where I got my brother to join in as well. (Once with Mr. Wonderful, once with Link_315.) Oh well, it's still fun anyways. What's your record Lord Yoshi? Mine's currently 111-25..........I'm addicted.

Would it be possible to set up a tournament some time? I still don't have a router, so I'm not completely sure on how everything works, but if everyone was on at the same time, you should be able to get a good ol' four player match with people from ZU, right?

Anyway, I added everyone, and I urge everybody else to do the same. The more people you have added, the more likely you'll be able to play someone. Ideally, I'd like to fill up my entire friends list. So tell anybody you know to post their friend codes in this thread.

Finally, while I don't yet have a wireless connection at my house, I may be able to play online while I'm on vacation. I'm thinking (hoping) that the hotel might have a connection.

Your still better then me. I still haven't gotten the hang of the 'power slide'. As I get better at pulling it off, I'm winning more races. I'm 56-48, but I DON'T quit when I loose, like most ppl do. A large majority of the people's looses are higher then displayed.

No no no. Blue is only the first step. The sparks have to become red for it to boost. Once you get used to it you'll be able to simply roll your finger over the pad quickly.

Ok then what triggers it to start? A very very sharp turn?

I would recommend using the Mario Kart thread for specific questions on Mario Kart. Just a suggestion. I've been disappointed in the fact that hardly anyone seems to want to actually discuss the game.

The boost turn is simpler than you think. First, you have to drift. This is done with R. I'm sure you know that. Then, you simply alternate pressing left and right on the Dpad. Do this two times, and release when the flames become red.

You left out the part about me being a fricken retard. My looses are catching up to my wins and everyone I have been playing wins because they can speed dash on EVERY damn corner! I had a guy pwn me today and I was hitting him with red and spike shells left and right, but everytime I past him he would be ahead of me again in no time, no mushrooms needed.

Some people really dislike the boost as it allows someone who has mastered the technique to own someone who hasn't. I think it's fair because it makes skill level more important to success. Those who can boost effectively can overcome cheap situations like being raped with Blue Shells.

I'm not sure if I've mastered boosting or not. My time trials make me believe that I have. On the other hand, I haven't been able to play online much, so maybe I'm not as good as I think.

I got my Mario Kart DS yesterday, but how do you find out your friend code. I went on to the UK version on that link, but it's under construction.
