Official Wii/Friend Code Thread

Dang it. We need more people so that we can be more flexible with tournements. Ugh. The chance that two friends are online looking for an opponent at the same time is so scarce.

Hm...kinda sad no one else on the site has Mario Kart yet. Me and Mr. Wonderful played eachother, it was pretty cool...except that I was screwed over numerous times (yes I lost). I've been playing online so much it's insane. My record is somewhere around 55-10 which is just dandy with me. I really wish we could get some ZU tourneys going...alas...we must wait.

Anyone know what will happen to my record if I change my name? My friend wanted to play but I didnt let him change my name because I wasnt sure what would happen to my record. My guess is nothing happens and it stays the same, can anyone varafy (sp?) that?

Also if I just leave my ds on and leave it on the game main menu will it tell me if one of you guys log on or do I have to be on the wi-fi main menu? Where do I have to be for that alert to show up?

I'm online a lot downloading stuff so contact me when I don't have an away message up and if I have time we can get the karts out! I can't wait!

Awesome. Glad you got the game, even more glad we have 4 people to have a full blown match with 'ZUsers'.

I highly doubt that changing your name will do anything for your record. I'm not going to try it...but still. I'm assuming it will do nothing, basiclly 95% sure. The only way to truly know is if you call or email Nintendo themselves. This strategy is actually very useful, I recommend you do that.

Also I don't know if you can see your friends unless you are in the wi-fi menu. I don't know...I'm assuming you would have to be online to tell if they were. Ask Nintendo about that too I guess.

Haha, I added my younger brother's friend code to the list. I'll tell him to add all of your friend codes. NOW YOU CAN PLAY SIZZLIN AND HIS BROTHER...colin...

No. That is your MAC code I believe. You are given a friend code when you register your game and your DS itself onto Nintendo's WFC.

Your Mac Code is your actual IP address.

Haha, well that's usally what happens when it's a one on one match. I don't really like playing againest just one other person, but I saw you were on so I had to play whichever friend was looking for a game (which happened to be you). Maybe sometime this weekend we can get a four player match going.

My copy had better arive tomorrow. If it does, Sizzlin, aeternus_aura, and I will be playing you all online, hopefully.

US Only? Are you saying the US is the only American (As in the Continents) country that has the game. You should probably consider yourself lucky, Europe was originally set to have it the Friday before it came out in the US, but they bumped it up for two weeks ¬_¬.

I'm very very sure that that is the MAC code printed on the bottom of the DS not the Product Number.

Hm...well I suppose you techniclly are the ZU Mario Kart champion of sorts...the thing is, you've only done one grand prix with me. I too have one a grand prix againest one single person...just wait...we'll see how Wonderful you are once we get a 4-Player race. I still can't get over lucky you got in Luigi's Mansion, good God.

I was in the middle of a game and I was rushing to get finished so I could play you. We will need to IM each other if we are going to all play at once.

Yeah I guess that would make him the champ. I think I beat him on one of the 4 races, Moo Moo farm I think.

It picks other players who have a similar Win-Loss record to yours.

THREAD HAS BEEN STUCK AS THE OFFICIAL... BLAH BLAH BLAH.

I don't have a friend code yet. Once I have some *money* I'll pick up Cart DS. IF I get some money. As far as I know, it's already spent... what a shame.
