Usually, the online games let you battle against anyone in the world, selected at random. You won't need friend codes for this kind of battle.

Okay, so I went to the wifi club at the top of the Pokemon center... nothing to do there. How exactly can I battle random trainers? And the battle tower, is the wifi part of it just computers controlling teams of real people? That's what it seems like, and I don't really like it that way.

Don't have the game myself so I don't know... have you checked the manual?

The problem: All of my Pokemon are around level 60, that being the highest and 58 being the lowest of my team. I am not interested in downgrading to a lvl.50 match, so make sure your average level is around 60 or so, perhaps a bit more or less.

Question: For the Wii, do you get a code for just the Wii or one for every online game?
I can't get internet connection and stuff on my Wii (yet) and don't have an online game for that matter so im oblivious to how this all works.

Answer: You get a code for you wii, which is the wii code. This code is for mailing between wii consoles (or regular mail adresses), trading mii's and whatnot.

Then, each online game have friend codes, just like on the DS. The good thing is that some games can import your wii code list into your friend code list in a game. Hope they start utilize that soon *looks at Nintendo*.

Nintendo's online sucks -_-
But at least there is one, oh well, a step is better than nothing.
