Yeah, I've got the demo too, I'm very surprised to see how much of the overworld we are actually given. You can ride around for hours in the seemingnlt gigantic play area, but there comes a time when you realize that youve only been given a grain of sand(the demo area) in the sahara(the full game), and you put the controller down, and sit there with your mouth open.
The actualy world in this game will be MASSIVE, I'm talking about hours of pure exploration, it would probably take days to find every single little uneeded offshoot and ruin in the game. You see, the developers decided to take a new route in videogaming, make places that youlle never visit if you conservativly play the game (genious!)
Here's a bit from a thread a made some time ago when the actually title of the game was released as opposed to the strange "wanda and the colossus"

The main character has a sense of nirvana about him, or perhaps he's a boddisvatta, helping his supposed love before he can help himself. Often times we wish we were such great video game hero's as megaman, or samus, many of us here at ZU wish we were link, but afterward we realize that we are not brave enough, or we are not healty/physically fit enough to perform such great tasks... But the hero in SotC, I feel for him, I wish I was him, a beat hero taking in the beautiful world about him... and sometimes, after I'm finished daydreaming, I become confident that I can be this sort of hero |
