SSBM Bowser

Hi,

I just saw TWO TYPES OF BOWSERS, yes TWO types, Here are the pictures of the bowsers:

Look-a-like Bowser:



Who is THIS BOWSER!?! Is it a clone?? Is he Bowser half brother?? Can someone tell me anything about this look-a-like bowser, I have completed the game but i never came across this character. And where or when do you fight him?

The so-called "look-a-like Bowser" is in fact Giga Bowser, the most powerful guy in the game. He's not playable, before you ask. To fight against him, either beat Adventure on Normal or above in under 8 minutes with no continues, or try Event Match 51, which I'm guessing you don't have. Warning: You will, repeat WILL, get whipped.

That is giga bowser.
Beat adventure in hard in a certain time limit and you will fight him. (You can not use a continue)

Eighteen (18) minutes. On Normal, Hard of Very Hard difficulty. With no continues. Hint: Don't fight Giant Kirby

Also you have to fight giga bowser on event 51. But if you beat giga bowser without using a continue on adventure you will get his trophie!!

Yeah. After you kick the crud out of it. Muchos worthwhile, though. Giga Bowser looks awesome.

Yea, theyre right, but bear in mind that you cant get him as a character, so dont listen to anyone who tells u tat.

That's kind of sad. It would really rock to be him. But could he fit on any stage?

Thanks for all of your replies. It is a shame that Giga Bowser isnt a playable character other wise i will kick all my m8s with bowser.. Mwahahahah...

He is playable if you have a GameShark or Action Replay, but under normal circumstances, he's only for fighting against. And he might be able to fit on Mute City or the top of Hyrule Temple. But thats about it.

It would be rather unbalanced if Giga Bowser was a playable character... and besides, everyone would flock to the character that's five times the size of the next biggest character, with power to match.

But yeah, for experienced gamers Normal mode Giga Bowser is just child's play... Try it on Very Hard. Anyhow, I know you don't need it, but further confirmation is necessary to quell rumors:
He is NOT a playable character.

That's my input, take it or leave it.

Is he just like regular Bowser only bigger and cooler looking or does he have unique attacks? Imagine how big he'd be if you were fighting in giant melee!
Or even bigger, giant melee and he grabs a supersizing mushroom!

Yeah, Giga Bowser no doubt. Wait until you fight him. He's pretty easy, if you want my advice:

Use Jigglypuff's super sleep death move to knock him out easily and then concentrate on the other two enemies in the last event stage.

No, not at all, any attack that he does has some sort of special side-effect, like his punch will make you smoke purple, and his down A move can make you freeze. But he can't use a shield or run, that's pretty much your only advantage.

Yeah, I never knew he was in Adventure mode... Psh I can't beat it on Hard let alone Very Hard. I mean I can't even get to him. Too bad my SSBM stopped working, I'd go try that as we speak... Damnit.

He's really hard, I've beaten him... once. It took forever! But eventually I won. I used Link. In adventure mode you only fight a big version of bowser don't you? Not Giga Bowser. Giga bowser is only in the event match I think. The other one is just big bowser... I think.

No. If you beat Adventure on Normal or higher (that's what GameFAQs says), in a certain amount of time and without continues, the big Bowser will turn into Giga-Bowser.

Well, yeah. I've fought him, but it took a loooong time. Mostly because I originally thought you have to play on Very Hard to get to him. When I figured out the truth, I beat him on my first try.

It is true if you beat Adventure mode on normal or higher without continuing then after the big bowser dies it seems like you won the Giga Bowser will rise up and you have to fight him. If you beat him then you get his trophy. But only in adventure mode do you get the trophy. You cant get the trophy by doing event 51. Trust me I know I have it.

When i was playing adventure mode on normal i had no continues, i never faced Giga Bowser. I guess i'll try again.
