Fine, fine. Nintendo, do whatever you want... but it's really ruining the specialness of your Nintendogs cashcrop. Nintencats? don't get me wrong, I love cats like I love air, but that's just silly sounding. Cats just aren't as leechy and attention-oriented as dogs. Sure, some cats love to play and won't leave your side, but others would be just as happy without you.
"We find you totally innocent...
Which is the worst crime of all...
So you're going to hang!" ~Clopin for the win~
Cats are crappy though, that's only to be used as an example like in the interview, not for a game. But there are still a lot of options for games like this as you can see, the pet simulation games aren't as much developed yet. Nintendogs will probably one of the first advanced pet sim games. Finished one I mean, pointing out B&W2.
I'd like a Turtle myself Sure, they're slow - but.. tape two turtles together and you have an UNSTOPPABLE STOMPING MACH--.. TURTLE.
Well, considering the fact that many think Nintendogs will be a huge hit, I don't see why they shouldn't continue and make many pet games for many pets! Cats, birds, hamsters, reptiles...why not?
Well doing that would be a big risk. It would either be a hit or a total miss. And if it was a miss then they just waisted time and money. And it would probably be a miss because a dog is the best animal to make a sim game on because it is the most interactive pet. A cat, maybe it depends. But all the other animals would be pointless to have because hamsetes and reptiles dont realy react and respond to playing. They just do their own thing when they want. But hey it is an idea and i can realy shoot down an idea so who knows.
