Catching Relicanth in Pokemon Emerald

Has anyone got any tips for catching a relicanth in Pokemon Emerald? I found one outside Sotopolis City once but I accidentally killed it and haven't been able to find one since. HELP!!!!!

You just have to keep looking for it. Relincath is pretty rare in emerald, and there's only of few of him in Ruby and Sapphire. See if this helps at all, that whole site helped me a lot on the pokemon games.

Catch a clamperl and call it Relicanth?

I love Clampearls to death. I have a collection on my Sapphire version. Can't you get someone who has Ruby or sapphire to trade with you?

Dive underwater and search for them in the grass then use a Dive ball or a Timer Ball to catch it...thats how I did it.

My friend does but he won't let me have it.

I just caught one and am now on my way to the Regi's Cave thanks for all your help guys.

it took me 2 consective hours to get it

Make sure you have a Wailord, Dig, Dive and tons of ultra balls and remeber to save before you fight just incase you kill it.
