KotOR 3?
Woo...my first thread in loooooooong time.
This probably has been discussed already, but I haven't seen a thread on this so here it goes. At the ending of KotOR there are big hints that there is going to be a KotOR 3, but Im not completely sure about it. After you defeat Kreia/Darth Traya she answers your questions about the future, like what's going to happen to your friends and Revan. Well she presents you with three choices: Remain in exile, Follow Revan, or wait on Malachor for force sensitives. If you say Follow Revan, then she will tell you that he has gone on to fight a war of his own and that you will help to end it alongside him. That last sentence I believe to be a big hint of KotOR 3, but I haven't seen anything to confirm its release... Anyone else think there is going to be a KotOR 3? -TFS |

Re: KotOR 3?
I've read something about KOTOR 3. Apparently we'll play as the Exile again (sigh) and we'll be able to join or kill Revan, it is our choice. I don't like that at all. I consider Revan undefeatable, I don't want Revan to be killed. Anyway, I suppose one goes off after Revan to fight in this new war, with these "true" Sith.
They will probably change the game once it comes out, but what I wrote is what I read somewhere, and it sounds like it could be true. I also remember reading about Revan's homeworld - we'll be able to visit it. The Ebon Hawk has been passed on for ages as I know, but in KOTOR 1 you take the ship from a criminal boss named Davik, and then after that it passed on to the person you are in KOTOR 2. You should really play KOTOR 1, if you haven't yet. It's a pity that you have only played the second...

Re: KotOR 3?
Yeah it is a pity.
I agree, Revan is one of my favorite Star Wars characters, even if he only exists in KotOR 1 and 2. He truly is undefeatable in my eyes, and this is alittle strange, but I liked KotOR 1 better than two, even if there is only a level 20 limit. The Exile to me, didn't seem as important, but Kreia/Darth Traya says otherwise. But Revan was much more powerful influencially (Is that a word?) and in the force. He helped win the Mandalorian wars using the Sith beliefs, now there is something you don't see in any of the movies, which is what makes KotOR 1 so original. -TFS |

Re: KotOR 3?
What sucks is that Revan probably isn't stronger than the Exile. I believe Traya says in the end of the game that you have surpassed Revan, or something like that. That's crock, some stupid "hole in the Force" is undefeatable.
Regarding spoiler tags, type [*spoiler] what you want to say [/*spoiler] without the asterisks/stars. I think you should cover up some spoilers, like the Traya and Revan spoilers you've posted. Just saying it's a pity for those that want to play KOTOR 1/2 but don't know these kind of details. I like KOTOR 1 more as well, but KOTOR 2 was still great. It's like comparing Ocarina of Time to Majora's Mask for me. The other makes up for what the other one lacks.

Re: KotOR 3?
Wow my friend...it is much more than that. Sion and Nihlus stripped her of her power, and betrayed her. It is much more deep than that.
And the part where you face Revan, isn't the real Revan. It is a test used by Kreia, and for her to see if you had to face Revan (The real one) and if you would actually fight back...I think. I may be wrong though. *edit* Heh, well before I made this thread, I literally just beat KotOR (again). I don't think she says that you have surpassed him...I think she says that you are as strong as him...sorry even though I just beat it, I can't remember exactly what she says...I could beat it again though just to find out. -TFS |

Re: KotOR 3?
Sure, go ahead. Some people on the Bioware forum (Bioware are those that made KOTOR 1) insisted that Traya said that the Exile surpassed Revan in every way, though I remember her saying that the Exile has been just as good as Revan, or something similar. I don't recall the Exile saying that Revan was surpassed.

Re: KotOR 3?
Yes, thats what I was saying. I don't want to believe the Exile is stronger, but I still believe they are equal. But then Kreia said when she looks upon the Exile she sees something different then that of Revan. In Revan, she sees power, but in the Exile...agh my mind is cloudy, I might have to replay that part again.

Re: KotOR 3?
KOTOR doesn't seem to be so known, it's in the shadow most of the time. It's ironic how all the crap games get to stand in the spotlight more than the good games.

Re: KotOR 3?
It really is ironic. Out of all my friends, the few that are game freaks, seem to like the overrated and not-so-great games. When I ask them if they played a certain game, they will say ''I've never heard of that before'' and Im just thinking ''Wow...'' But then again I don't remember seing some games being advertised.
