The thread title is self-explanatory, but this is an open-ended question, not limited to boss battles. If you absolutely love shooting the chainsaw maniacs with your Broken Butterfly, by all means, you can call that your favorite battle. Any battle, boss or not, is perfectly appropriate. Mercenary Mode and Assignment: Ada count as well.
I have to mention two. The first I mention is my favorite, but I had to mention my second favorite as well. 1) Jack Krauser My gosh, this battle was amazing. It was probably the scariest battle in the entire game--Krauser would jump out from behind you and try slit your throat. Nearly peed my pants. It was also a bit freaky to have a laser pointed at you for once. The area was enormous and I never knew when he was going to pounce. Ahh, man, I'd replay the whole game again just for that one battle (I probably will). So much fun. 1) Del Lago One of the main reasons I loved this battle was because it was early in the game and impressed me beyond belief. Graphically, Del Lago is just incredible, even more so because it is all in real time, even the intro cut scene. Such an enormous and difficult boss so early in the game really caught me off guard. Loved it. So, what are your favorites? RE4 has so much amazing stuff to offer, does it not?

Re: What is your favorite battle in "Resident Evil 4?"
My favorite would have to be the fights against Los Gigantes. I don't really know why. In the end, every single fight in the game is rather similar. Shoot and hit the context sensitive button. They all felt the same to me, anyway. Which meant that they were all awesome. Even fighting the common Ganado or cultist could prove challenging and entertaining. RE4 is amazing.

Busting Regenerators open with one Rocket shell is great.
As for bosses, I'd have to go with Krauser. The dialogue was pretty pathetic and repetitive at times. He either said "prepare for your death", or "run Leon, run" : / Regardless of that it was a fun battle, and right when you think you might do some damage, he throws in a blinding flash grenade. |

I kept on dying at the first little town, the stupid bastard with the shopping bag and chainsaw.

Krauser has got to be one of the grestest video game boss fights ever made, so it definally gets my vote. It's battle arena is huge, you can use several tactics to take him down, and it's just a whole hack of alot of fun to play. So Krauser gets my vote.

Yeah, Bitores Mendez was pretty awesome. It took me a couple of times to beat him. You were surrounded by fire. This horrid creature is coming at you and you have no way out of the building. Scary as hell.

Re: What is your favorite battle in "Resident Evil 4?"
My favorite battle is when your holding down the cabin with Ashley and Luis. The scene leading up to the battle was awesome in it's cheezyness.
"I hate to say it, but we're sandwiched alright." "I see the president has equiped his daughter, with ballistics" "Alright. It's game time." Then the ganados swarm the cabin, and when I finally see the other two wardrobes, it's already to late, Ganados are already storming through. First thing I do is I shoot one in the foot, simultaneously causing its head to explode. :moodswing And RE4 faithful, you know what that means. Oh yeah, I loved that battle.
