I have the game, I got it from a friend who works in testing stuff, and I can tell you it is very good, especially the single player.

Re: Jedi Academy

Uh since OKO is forcing me on MSN to reply, (just kidding ), I will give info about the game.

You can pick Human Male/Female, Twi'lek Female, Rodian Male, Kel Dor Male, and Zabrak Female.

Customize you can, yes yes, customize the head/torso/legs you can!

Sexy outfits, the Twi'lek has, yes yes, but I avoided that, mmh!

Re: Jedi Academy

www.lucasarts.com/products/jediacademy

That site just rocks, check it all out, has clips of the movements, etc.

Even 2 trailers...

I don't need that stuff, and you know why

Re: Jedi Academy

Hehe, it's better than Knights of the Old Republic, turn-based RPG's isn't exactly Star Wars style.

But for all the little RPG-boys in the world, KoTOR is a better choice.

Re: Jedi Academy

I haven't played KotOR, so I don't know much about it. However, I can say for sure that KotOR and JK:JA are different genres. the JK series is a shooter/saber action game. KotOR is hard-core RPG, I think.

Katarn is in Jedi Academy, you just don't play as him.

I agree with Aaron, KOTOR owns any and every starwars game indeed. I will still buy JKIII though

Re: Jedi Academy

Jedi Acedemy is gonig to be so good. I've read like every article on it, and there's all sorts of great stuff you get to do. You get to ride different vehicles in some levels (even though some are released, I won't say what kind). The new lightsaber styles are gonna be cool, but you can't select to have a double-bladed or two sabers the first time you play, but you have the option of switch part-way through. Two new multiplayer modes (seige, which is a team that has to complete a series of objectives, while the other team defends, and a duel mode that allows a two on one saber fight, like Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon vs. Darth Maul kinda styled). The best thing though is they made it easier for people to create and modify models for the game, as well as make it easier to transfer the Multiplayer Models into SP, so you can play as even more characters. So maybe it will even bo possible to add more selection for the single player, who knows?

Ok, I'm done obsessing, but every Dark Forces/ Jedi Knight fan should pick up this game, September 17th, 15 days and counting....

Re: Jedi Academy

No, not really. There is alot of lightsaber fighting, but there are also tons of force powers to use, as well as different fighting techniques, etc. There are puzzle and exploration elements as well.

But yes, for the most part it is an action game.
