Shenmue

I have this game for the Dreamcast. I love it. The only thing about this game is it's not for everyone. Some people like it and some people hate it. I want to play Shenmue 2 but I don't have an xbox. Sorry that was kind of off topic but anyway I was wondering if anyone here is a fan of the shenmue games and why.

I love the Shenmue games. In my eyes it's like an uber awesome The Sims. The first one is the best, in my opinion. I love how you can go do things similar to that of real life, yet you still have a story to go live out, you still have a point to the game. It's just a lot of fun.

I have both of them for Dreamcast and the x-box version of the 2nd one also for the hell of it. They are great games and along with my friends I have been waiting for Shenmue 3 for ages and by this point I doubt it will ever happen.

I have neaver played Shenmue 1 but I own Shenmue 2 and its a good game.

May I ask where did you get Shenmue 2 for the Dreamcast. I've been looking all over for it. Any advice on what you do to get it?

If you get a modchip for your Dreamcast, you can buy Shenmue 2 from England and play it.

Also, on the game itself, I love Shenmue, and have played it through several times (don't own it though), but with Shenmue 2, when I played through it the first time it was great, I just couldn't play it again after that though.

There is a Europe and Japan Shenmue 2 Dreamcast. If you get the Europe version it will play, all you have to do is turn the subs on.

My friend baught it offline and then I copied it. I'm sure it would even be on ebay.

Thanks a lot I might try to get it then. I've been wanting to play through the first one again as well just because it's so fun. I've got to say though my favorite part in it is when you fight the entire group of mad angels. It's hard but it's awesome.
