Most curious moment

What was your most curious moment in gaming history? One moment that actually made you think, maybe even made you a little emotional, or perhaps just a moment you liked...

Personally, my favourite bit is in Baten Kaitos. When they finally destroy Malpercio and they say that prayer to him to save his soul(?) from hell. It truly touched my heart... Don't ruin the moment for me please...

Although, nothing shocked me more then what came next. that boss was creative, but weak as heck. The whole planet against you? I was hoping for some imaginative finishing moves, but no! We HAVE to have a stupid three-hit combo that never does more then 2000 damage... damn you Namco.

I love that poem. It sounds very beautiful. But the ending of BK rambled on for too long.

Other tiems are the endings of OoT (duh) and ToS. They are both very lovely to look at, and made me feel sad to say goodbye to Ruto, Nabooru, Colette, Genis, Sheena and all my other favorite characters.

The ending to Halo 2 I thought was the worst thing I had to endure.

I dunno. Probably the ending of Golden Sun.

Oh god. Golden Sun has the most dialogue....before I fight Satauros and Menardi, I actually get a book, and just keep my thumb hammering away on the A button.

Yes, the dialogue on Golden Sun reallys ticks me off. The only good thing about it is that it makes a nice storyline even thought boring to read.

Probably the movie scene in OoT, where Link turns back into a child, navi flys away, and it's a solo role of the Master sword. That was beautiful. *wipes a tear from her eye*

Oh geez...where to start?! I've played too many games ^^; I guess the ones I remember the best will work.

The very end of Baten Kaitos would definately be one. You almost feel kinda sad when everyone says their goodbyes and you go on your way (whether you wanted to or not x.x)

Anyother one was Arc the Lad: Twilgiht of the Spirits. That games has more favorite moments than I can mention, it was so cool! I guess the best part was at the end when the two main characters, Darc and Kharg, finally stop trying to kill each other and team up to take down the big boss baddie. Since Darc and Kharg were atually twins, who got separated and ended up fighting each other on different sides of a war going on, it made me so happy to see them finally getting along. The last scene of the game is them shaking hands, finally agreeing to try and get along. It's just a pity that they aren't mentioned more in the sequel game that just came out.

Hmm... I was actually expecting this thread to be locked, the topic looks like a spam-magnet, doesn't it?

For any genuinely good game, I always feel sad at the credits. Although with games like Pokemon, you can continue the file, so it's not so bad. But the credits are the saddest part of any game, but if you truly feel sad about it, then it means that it was a geniunely good game in my opinion.

One curious moment came to me whilst playing Electroplankton. Does anyone know what song Miztui sings? The first time you meet her? I know it starts with...:
Drifting on the waves... The flowing waves...
How far shall we go toni-I-ight...?
To the rounded moon... to the scarlet star...
To the slumbering island off afar...
But that's it! I am so annoyed with it it's unbelievable.
