METAL GEAR SOLID 3 SUBSISTENCE!!!

Just like mgs2 subsistence konami is adding a new features to the already perfect game metal gear solid 3 and adding features mgs fans could only dream of like online playing "up to six players". and you will be able to be characters like the soliders and im pretty sure some of the bosses my friend told me, not only is it multiplayable now it will also you will also see some secrets behind the previous mgs's, heres some pics http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/adventur...reenindex.html "they cant do that to snake" if some one already did something like this sorry oh and i forgot to mention they also adding things to snake vs monkey thingy

Releasing a game then re-releasing it with some new features here and there isn't worth the money. It's a money sucker, that's all. Squeeze all the money out of the product, then move on to the next one.

Thats cool. maybe ill hold of on buying MGS 3 until that comes out for the multiplayer.

No, it isn't the same thing Nintendo does with "NES" games. Why? Because those games and that system is quite old, and a tad bit inconvenient to buy. So they remade them on a new more modern system so people now-a-days can play without the hastle of finding all the old games and system. MGS3 was just sucking money, for I can buy it now with absolutely no hastle, it ain't old rare or anything.

I don't think you used enough exclamation points.

Now, things like this are only worth buying if you didn't get the game when it came out the first time. And multiplayer stealth games aren't typically fun, unless there's a cool twist, like in Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow.

Or, if you kept your old copy in mint condition (no scratches on disk and everything is still there, and you should be keeping your games in good condition) you could probably get $25 for it to fund the purchase of the new version, if you really want it.

Some new features, huh? Substance had 500+ missions added to it, along with some other ****. I doubt Subsistence will be much different, along with multiplayer and online play.

Yes but still, why didn't they just put all that in the game when it first came out? Money ploy, that's all I can see.

Eh.. everybody does it. Big companies want money, just in case you didn't know. At any rate, nobody is forcing you to buy it, so there shouldn't be a problem.

Doubt if I'll buy it, but if my friend does I'm sure he'll let me borrow it. I'm willing to wager that he will, too, since he's more into Metal Gear than I am.

Hopefully the'll fix the dodegy AI.

Since I have yet to play Snake Eater, I MAY pick it up. I depends how much I like the original Metal Gear Solid, which I have recently barely scratched the surface of.

But it really is a cheesy thing to do when they release extended versions like that shortly after the original's release. At least it isn't like Final Fantasy International though, and we actually get it in the US.

I mainly want this just to play the MSX Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. It's good to see they're finally getting released on a system in the US for once.

My friend will most likely get it, seeing how he's a huge Metal Gear fan, and I just might borrow it from him. But if it has a lot of new features, awesome online multiplayer, and if the new camera perspective works, I just might pick up a copy of it.

I'm going to trade m current MGS3 copy for it. I really like the idea of the full 3D camera and the multiplayer looks great.

So? Already attempted that with Splinter Cell...it sucked. So I am

Since I am a big MGS fan, I'll probably pick this one up. However, I don't know if I will be able to get it when it first comes out, since there are already a lot of games coming out this fall that I want to get, and also we got the Xbox 360 coming out. I will get it, though.

One thing that's bittersweet about this game is that it has Metal Gear 1+2 included on the disc. This is really cool, since now those who haven't hunted these games down as ROMs can finally play them, but in a way, it sucks. Why, you ask? Because since Konami is releasing these games, they will probably never go out and actually remake them now, which is a shame.
