Re: timesplitters?

Timesplitters: Future Perfect is by far the best in the series. It improves upon the second in pretty much every way possible. Though the single player campaign still isn't up to the levels of other shooters, it's definitely much better than what we got in Timesplitters 2 (a bunch of unrelated missions with nearly no plot). Multiplayer is, of course, excellent as always, and the massive amounts of guns, arenas and characters makes it almost impossible to tire of.

Re: timesplitters?

Theyre all fun games, I voted for 2 though cause it was the one that got me started on the series. I love the multiplayer, 2 people can have loads of fun with all the bots. I love how overly-fast the gameplay is. Its really spastic which adds excitement to the game. Gotta love the double-barreled shotgun, especially when you have 2.

Re: timesplitters?

All 3 as I find all the Timesplitters plain awsome. What sucks is that I don't have one or 3 and I'd like to get those games, pretty badly.

Re: timesplitters?

#2 was great and I scooped it up instanly after I read about Free Radical. (Free Radical is 1/2 of the Goldeneye/Perfect Dark team who didnt stick around after Microsoft took over). I havent gotten to play #3 yet because both of my local Blockbuster and A-Z only carry it for PS2.

Re: timesplitters?

TimeSplitters 2 > most other shooters! It's got monkeys, ducks and a robot with a fishbowl on his head. Most random FPS ever, methinks. Neo Tokyo licks feet, but I can just abnout excuse that.

Come on, that is an oxymoron. You can't have a favourite Timesplitters game!

Re: timesplitters?

timesplitters 2 is good because of the arcade modes and funny characters like the snowman on the magic carpet and the gingerbread man

Re: timesplitters?

Timesplitters:
The original was very challenging. The levels were short and simple, and you would have little health. However, it wasn't an awful game. I liked it, just not as much as the other two.

Timesplitters 2:
This was the best. The characters were funny, the arcade mode was best, and even though the story was bad, the levels were very well designed. It had by far, the most replayability.

Timesplitters, Future Perfect:
This was second best. It wasn't as memorable as Timesplitters two, and the multiplayer levels didn't have as big a impact (where's the circus?). However, the charcters (Especially Cortez) were just classic. He was so over the top. And, unlike the previous two games, the storyline was actually pretty good. It had proper continuity, and you could tell what was going on.

Through all this, I voted for TS2.

Re: timesplitters?

I'd have to say Future Perfect. The levels weren't as varied as 2, but I found them a lot more enjoyable. Also, I prefered the fact that you actually played as a character rather than jumping into other people's bodies for no particular reason.

Re: timesplitters?

#3 is the best. It has decent storyline, the characters have depth and it's funny. Plus there are four different monkeys.

Re: timesplitters?

I hereby change my opinion (too bad I can't vote again). After getting - and pwning at - Future Perfect, I now say that it is the best shooting game of all time, EVER. Monkey Gun, Cyborg Chimp, Strudel... must I continue? This. Game. Is. Awesome.

Re: timesplitters?

TimeSplitters 3 was the best because of the Story, brilliant assaults, improved mapmaker and better graphics, but the Arcade was SH1T, on TS2, the arcade was much better, but overall, TS3 is way good!

Re: timesplitters?

Timesplitters 2 is the best. It is a classic FPS. Future Perfect was great but the gameplay felt a bit watered down.
