i have some cheats:
1. for home run contest pick doctor mario and use his pills until the bag is close (not exactly close) to the edge and use your sheet i got over 1,500 with this technique
2. with some trophies you can go inside of them like with the ocarina of time you get close to the nearest hole and zoom in another is the Lon Lon milk where your between the lactosy particles (sorry to many science notes in my head) but for me the best is the metroid where you can be inside the brain-like thing.
3. when someone throws a bomb at you if you have the correct timing you can catch the bomb or when its close you can step dodge it.
4. for fifteen man meele you can use DK (yes I know all of you know this one) and do your down-B attack to kill everyone and survive!
5. I dont know how but I made link lose his sword but he was using an invisible sword.
6. if you throw a piñata thing (i forgot its real name) sometimes it can throw bombs but they blow up as soon as they touch the ground (this only happened to me once so I assume it will happen with a rate of 1:200)
7. when you are in event match 51 pick Jigglypuff and fly over Giga Bowser and use your down-B attack so he is sent flying all the way out of the stage.

I knew some of these, but I can't wait to try some new stuff out.
And for the Adventure mode, if you beat the multi-Kirby level in less than thirty seconds you can fight a giant kirby. When trying to go against Giga-Bowser, it's a good strategy to take slightly more than thirty seconds to beat them so you don't go against Giant Kirby. Overall, it takes less time that way.
And if you have a Pikman save on the same memory card as your SSBM save, you can earn the Captain Olimar trophy.
That's about all I can add right now....

Dark Soul, Toad appears in three places. A trophy, in the background of the first Adventure level, and as Peach's B attack. That's all. You can't play as him.

This one isn't really a cheat... more of a skill.

I dont remember who, but this guy put together this thing called the Hylian Jump. it's basicly jumping from the right edge of Hyrule Castle down to that ditatched platform underneath. its a really helpful cause if your running it takes the guy chasing you a really long time to go around.

This isn't a cheat either: but if you look in the back of the SSBM booklet, they give suggestions for how to play, such as Tag. but changing the rules of the game can prove very fun. Tag is great, Bombfest is fun too. Just change the rules of how you play to get a better SSBM experience.

also, does anyone know anything about Wavedashing?

wavedashing... its like an induced glitch in the game using the little L float thing. i don't know how to do it and i was wondering if anyone here did. I wanna learn cause supposedly you can cover large amounts of ground in a short time.

Incidentally, Roy's Counter can deal more damage than his Flare Blade, and can be an instant kill in Stamina mode if used correctly. If giant metal Roy uses fully charged Flare Blade on normal Roy, who counters, giant metal Roy gets instantly KOd. Well, usually.

Cool. *Downloads wavedashing thingy* I'm off to try that. *Goes to try* And here's something useful. You can avoid any attack with a sidestep dodge. And I do mean any attack. Articuno, Electrode, Flare Blade... Any non-continued attack can be dodged, making your opponent look really stupid.

Reading what? The dodge-and-humiliate tactic? The only thing funnier than getting blown up by an Electrode is making people think you did. Then delivering a Charge Beam to the face when the smoke clears. w00t.

Ya There are many hidden things in SSBM. You can call the Falcon team for example. Ok, this must be done with Fox of Falco...Go to Corneria. With Fox or Falco, push left and right over and over again on the D-PAD! If you do this really fast, Fox or Falco will get into a humorous conversation with the other three. This can only be done once per match. This must be done correctly or it will not work, if you taunt in the middle of your attempt, it will mess it up and you must start over, try not to hit the taunt button. (D-Pad up)

They're called the Star Fox team, not the Falcon team. If you play as Falco and do that on top of the fin at Venom, Star Fox team might turn up and start Nova-Bombing everyone else. Again, sidestep dodges are fun for this situation.

Not really a secret, but when you use Jigglypuff, jump above someone and come down on top of the them in the middle of a battle and use the down B. Usually works, but if it doesn't, you're screwed.

I tried that a long time ago. It worked the first few times, but then I got cocky and tried it, it didn't work and I died. Um I can't think of any cheats. People have said all the ones I know.

I love the Hylian Jump thing (is that what it's called? I always called it trying to get to the bottom platform without dying) and the grabbing onto ledge with the hookshot. You can also attack people with it in the air too. It looks so painful if you hit your enemy in the face, lol. Anyways, something that I noticed about Young Link is that he can grab onto the ledge backwards. You know how many times I've been saved by that? Has anyone else noticed it? It's sure helpful... And I oughta try that Wavedashing thing too.

Not a secret, more like a technique. L-Canceling. It lowers the amount of time to recover from an A air attack. Press L as soon the air attack hits the ground. Practice with Link's Sword Plant or Fox's Drill Kick. Another useful technique is Crouch Canceling. If your character's percentage is low, below 50 or something, if you get hit by any attack while crouching you will not go anywhere. Very useful when you are about to get hit by Jigglypuff's Rollout.
