Super Smash Bro.s Melee Secrets

I don't know what buttons too press(haven't played SS in a long time) but you can also get alternate music in Adventure Mode.

If you have a Macro Controller, you can pull off some wicked sweet secret moves with it. For example, though ive only done this once, I pulled off some sort of Fire Spin Attack with Link in Great Bay vs Pikachu and blasted him towards the big turtle.I don't remember the button combination, cause I was getting really annoyed by my freinds Thunders and just started banging the controller, and thats when it happened

Fun Link attack: Get bomb, toss it upwards, hookshot oppenent, hit him upwards, and BOOM-instant combo attack. I do it all the time.

You can get a few kills off in Cruel mode using Roy's UP+B fire sweep move. Sonic and Tails don't exist in SSBM. They just don't.

You can start a battle out as Sheik if you pick Zelda and hold "A" until the battle starts.
The Zelda "found secret theme" will play.

In a timed match in Mushroom Kingdom (SMB), the music will speed up during the last 20 seconds.
In a timed match in Mushroom Kingdom 2 (SMB2), the music changes to Birdo's theme during the last 20 seconds.
To unlock Mushroom Kingdom 2, get a Birdo or Pidgit trophy.

These are all great tips. Im going to have to use some of these against my friends. Muhahaha

Many (or maybe all) characters actually close one of their eyes when shooting with a Ray Gun or Super Scope. I just love all these details.

The only item Mewtwo actually touches is the Parasol, while using it to float.
Captain Falcon can shoot 4 stars at a time with the Star Rod. Sheik can shoot 2.
Sometimes, you'll find a Super Scope that won't run out of ammo.
Master Hand and Crazy Hand occasionally damage each other with their double-team moves. (Only about 2HP, but every little helps)
When playing as DK in the home run challenge, you can pick up the bag and run with it.
Captain Falcon's taunt is slightly different, depending on which direction he's facing.
Ganondorf's taunt allows him to float over low-flying items such as Green Shells and wandering Bob-ombs

Pichu does that too! Me thinks there are some more.
Most of you probably already knew this, but if Jiggly's shield breaks, she instantly dies (which means fan+Smash attack+Shielding Jiggly=Dead Jiggly )
If you change the lighting on Ganondorfs thropohy, his eyes become red.

What? Jigglypuff dies from a broken shield? Skillz!

To fight luigi in adventure mode cross the finish line when the clock has a two in it, example 3:12 (This is also how you unlock luigi)

You can also unlock the extra charcters, every 100 battles in VS mode (not special melee, just versus)

if you have action replay, you can get three trophies that weren't included in the actual game. One is a little green guy from some demon game, another one is mario riding yoishi, and the last one, witch I think most will like is, AN UNMASKED SAMUS . Yeah I figured you all like that. he codes for them are (Not sure which is which)

You can get mew or celbi out of a poke ball, for mew, you have to have all charcters, for celbi you need everything in the game, they are a 1:251 chance of coming

Since kirby and DK can walk with their enemies while they have hold of them(works really good, if you both have one life left) you can jump off an edge, and throw them off screen to win.

When you have an electrode pokemon (the one that blows like a bomb) at the last split second, you can pick it up and throw it.

The fox and falco trick, you have to press left right real fast on the D-PAD! to get it to work (also must be a star fox level)

Holding L R or Y before you look at your trophies, will arange them into a different shape.

You can fight giga bowser in adventure mode if you beat it on normal or harder, in under 18 min., and no game overs.

To do really good in the homwrun contest, choose yoishi. When it says go, jump above the sandbag, and press down A you will do an attack which can do up to about 35% every time. You can get some really far hits, I can't remember mine, but it was really far.

Well that's all I've got.

Another secret that may have been mentioned. The weakest attack in the game is Luigi's taunt, but it can actually be an instant KO. How? It's a Meteor Smash. Stand at the edge and use it on an airborne enemy for optimum humiliation.

I knew that when I first got the game. I watched the vidio and saw Link use his grappling hook to get up. It took me a while to figure out that you has to press before Z.

That move rocks.

Not really a secret, but when you use Jigglypuff, jump above someone and come down on top of the them in the middle of a battle and use the down B. Usually works, but if it doesn't, you're screwed.

I have a question. Can you get a koopa or Gobooma in SSBM, it either that or sonic and tails(I forget)

You can beat up Koopas and Goombas in Adventure mode, they sometimes come out of crates and barrels, and you can't get Sonic and Tails. At all. Ever.

I found that if someone is using Samus and your using Link. That if Samus charges up her blaster to max and shoot you, that if you stand perfectly still with Link the sheild will protect you.

That works for Ray Guns, Super Scopes, and any other energy attacks at that height. Doesn't work with anything that explodes, though. I tried.

umm in dont know if someone ask this but is it true that if you kill 15 people in cruel melle you get sonic and tales, cause i got 14 and it took me really long i hope its true

Obviously it is false. Why would Nintendo put Sega characters in SSBM? Use your head, man! I can't believe people still fall for that rumour. I've heard so many Sonic in SSBM rumours it'd make your head spin.
