Characters (Nintendo or non-Nintendo) that you would like to see in Super Smash Bros.

They could add Blood Falcon, Jody Summers, or Dr. Stewart, but I would like Samus to have the armor from Prime 2, Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf from TP, Fox from Starfox Assault, all the other regular characters from SSBM 2, but add Copy X and Zero from Megaman Zero and bring more characters from Mario like Wario and Waluigi and Daisy.

They could get by with all the characters that were in SSBM and just add like 20 more. Imagine that. It would be incredible. If the Revolution is powerful enough to handle it, this next Super Smash Bros will be amazing. Online-16 players on the screen-mayhem....hmm...the possibilities...

I would like to see Square Enix make a deal with nintendo and allow FF characters enter the fray. One word: awesome.

I wouldn't mind having castlevania characters like simon belmont or dracula.

I'd love to have Space Pirates. Wouldn't you just love to kill Pikachu as one of those guys? Killing Pikachu and the other Pokemon seem to be the big attractions to these games.

I'd like to see Ganondorf be able to turn into Ganon, or use his sword. Seeing some Sonic character wouldn't be bad, or some DBZ guys too.

Though I guess I could settle for Auron or Sephiroth.

They shouldnt take anyone out. That would suck, I hate it when games take characters out because most of the time it was my favorite. (Johnny Cage ring a bell to anyone?)

Yeah Captain Olimar should be a given. Maybe even some pikmin....i know it seems kinda like why would u put pikmin in the game, but if the Revolution is powerful enough it would be awesome to have lots and lots of pointless (but still awesome) characters.

Indeed. Female ones, at that. Too many male fighters in that game. I'd be thrilled to see Lyndis and Eirika join the roster in the next SSB title.

Ah, and I've always wanted to see more Kirby chracters. You can't deny it, fighting as Meta-Knight would be so bad-ass.

I agree wholeheartedly with Tigerboi on this one, though. It needs to be online. That would be the single greatest addition to the series that they could muster. I'd love to see and end put to these "I can own any body with ________" arguments on forums.

Wouldn't it just be SSB 3? If it was SSBM,it would me SSBM 2. Anyway,basically,I would like all the same charactors of SSBM,plus Fire Mario,and Kid Zelda.

I know this thread is just for fun and I intend to add some characters, but just remember, saturating the game with characters would likely prove more detrimental than beneficial. You'd have too many characters with similar moves, and the game would most likely lose balance. Balance, making the game as fair as possible, and the characters as equal as possible, is crucial. Someone mentioned a create a character feature. I disagree with this. The whole point is that this game is a brawl between Nintendo characters. Plus, how would you customize their moves? Now, a possibility would be to customize your fighter's coloring and clothing to make him unique among the thousands of people online. Even this isn't the best idea, however.

Some possible characters:

-Samurai Goroh
-Wario
-Drop young Link, add cel-shaded Link
-Captain Olimar (maybe). Would be very strange.
-Two new Pokemon (I don't even know what the newest ones are called)
-Diddy Kong
-Give Gannondorf an original move set
-Drop Falco, add Krystal
-Ridley (once again, very difficult to program)
-Pit
-King Dede

This is already overdoing it. Adding anymore would not be a good thing.

I think the next Smash Bros needs a better one player game. Online will be a great addition. New levels and items are a given. And the gameplay must be further refined. Any way you look at it though, it will be a terrific launch title.

Yes, good point this its Super Smash Brothers 3 because Super Smash Brothers Melee is #2.

I think adding some of the female sages from OoT would be a good idea. It would even out the huge imbalince in Male/female, and since anyone can be in SSB, (the standards have dropped, you don't have to be the main chara of a franchise). I think they should alter some of the old charas (too many were just clones of others), and add more female charas before they think of males. Out of like 20ish males (more then that I think) there are only 3 ladies! Nintendo need to make some heroines and fast!

The trophies added to the already large time it takes to complete the game(heck I got it in 2001, and I still don't have them all) Why would you want to take them away? The playable bio would take up memory.

General Grevious, and of course, the cool ninja dude from Prince of Persia. Also, the old monkey from donkey kong would be fun to play as, if he was some awsome karate master.

Wow, first post in forever... Anyways, what about the main character from Katamari Damacy? It would be interesting to see them incorporate the roling technique.

As for something more likely, I would love to see the Pikmin crew, as well as Diddy or Dixie Kong, possibly as a tag team.
