Marvel Nemesis

(I don't know where to put this...either in General Gaming or in Entertainment because the article sorta draws the line)

As probably some (or none) of you know, there's going to be a brand spankin' new Marvel fighting game coming out for the GC, PS2, PSP, & X-box. As for why I didn't know if this belonged in the Entertainment section is because of this: Before the game will be released, Marvel is going to write a comic storyline of what happens before, so you can get the full picture of what's happening between the Comic and Video game Storyline. As far a playable characters go, they've mentioned that they have The Thing, Wolverine, Spider-Man, and Elektra but so far, no other word about the others. Talk about the game, info, the article, anything you want in here (that has to do with the topic at hand of course). Heck even talk about some Marvel Characters (good guys and villains) that you'd like to see in the game. Oh and before I forget, here's the article.

Now with that out of the way, I'm really hoping to see Magneto, Hulk, and Captain America to join the fray. I'm just trying to look back at some of the previous Arcade games that had Marvel Characters involved and what are the possibility of some familiar faces showing up in this one...

Hey, ay least it looks like they're putting in Fantastic Four members from the sound of it (something Capcom never did) .

My must-have characters would be the Beast, Magneto, Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four, Storm and Supergirl.... oh wait that last one's from the wrong universe, never mind.

that game sounds kool, i have to get that.im hoping that nightcrawler from x-men will be in it.

Hmmm what I'm begining the think is they are going to at least put all the Marvel Characters whom have been (or are going to be) on the Big Screen (aka: Movies). Now I'm not saying they are going to have all of the mutants shown in the X-men movies, but most likely show the most popular ones (Wolverine, Magneto, Nightcrawler, Mystique, and Pheonix). As for the Fantastic Four...it's a possibility. Of course each fighting game needs a "big shirtless character" who's slow yet powerful, and The Thing and Hulk can go perfectly into that category...it's the question of which one is going to be in the game (I'd prefer both...which could always happen). There are a lot of Marvel movies that have/are coming out. So far we have/had (if you want some info on the upcoming Marvel movies, look it up, it really isn't that hard to find. I'd suggest www.comicscontinuum.com...beware of spoilers):

So right now, the possibilities are endless for heros & villains.

I couldn't really care less about the cast of characters. This is going to be EA's first fighting game so I'm REALLY curious to see how it plays. They'll have to get all the powers of the characters right, so they may have to end up doing something totally new.
