Best ending?

BEWARE OF SPOILERS!

Anyway, mine would be the ending of Metroid Prime 2...

Samus defeats Dark Samus in the parallel to the Hall of the Honoured Dead (I forgot what it's called!). Dark Samus attempts to get to Samus to strangle her, but dies just as she reaches her. Next, some Warrior Ing come to seek revenge for killing their emperor. Samus is completely surrounded and in a no-win situation. Some Phazon explodes revealing a portal that she can scan to activate. She runs for it, opening the portal and leaping into it. Some of the Ing attempt to pursue her, but fail, just as Samus flies out of the portal in her Morph Ball. The portal closes on the Ing, trapping them in the collapsing portal as the Dark World is left destroyed.
Samus is later hailed as a heroine to the Luminoth. She gives up her Light Suit as it is now redundant; unlike her Varia Suit, which she keeps. She leaves U-Mos and the Luminoth behind. On return to her gunship, she removes her Varia Suit, revealing her in her tight blue body suit (kinda like the Fusion Suit from Fusion, but without the helmet of yellow... thingies). She leaves Aether, ready for her next mission!

You talking about best endings ones you make up? Or actual endings from your chosen video game?

:confused: I really have no idea what would have best ending, but first that comes in mind now would be Oot and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within secondary ending they very good ones...

1. FFX- Cause sad romantic endings are awsome.
2. FF8- The ending is a bit confusing at first, but then you think about it and it makes sence. The camera thing was fun as well. *reminds self to make a banner with the Zell Image and the "Got Milk" qoute.*
3. Megaman X8- Oh the foreshadowing to X9! *clenches fist* Zero knows how to make such great dramatic speaches...*tears of joy*

Out of the games I've played recently, I liked the ending in Viewtiful Joe, where

Captain Blue goes nuts and turns into a giant and Joe goes inside a ridiculously oversized robot and they fight and Joe wins and then they face each other in their 'human forms' and Joe wins again and Captain Blue starts telling his story of life and the audience cheers and Joe and Silvia go off to fight aliens and you get to see all the enemies and fake movie posters while the credits roll.

But if you don't include the pre-boss talk and the final battle, maybe it's not so great.

Ooh, OoT's ending was soooo good. Makes me cry.... (ok, not really, but it was really sad). And MM's. Mario Sunshine's was ok. All the snapshots were cool.

Something tells me this one's gonna be named a lot, but I'd have to say OoT. It really gives you the fealing you've actually accomplished something.

Real endings.

DKC2's real ending. It was, to some extent, unexpected and got me ready for more of the series, y'know?

I would say the multiple endings in Dynasty Warriors 4 Empires are pretty good. Once you get all endings you can customize it and make it how ever you want.

I dunno... I like the Wind Wakers alot, but i cant say the same for the minish cap.

I don't think I really have a favorite ending. I thought the DK64 ending was good (the full one). I did enjoy the MP2 ending, although I didn't get to see her with her suit off. I like it when I win the superbowl in Madden; it just gives a feeling of accomplishment (even without the huge press conferece afterward).

IX's ending is romantic, sad... and happy, too. Happy-sad. =P
Whatever. It's perfect. That's what it is. My favorite game ending ever. FIrst game that made me cry - the ending was just plain beautiful.

I didn't care for the art stlye to much... I felt like I was watching a cartoon(Even if technically all video games are 'cartoons') or some remake of Chrono Trigger. Its probably just a matter of your own likes and dislikes though. =P

4. Kingdom Hearts- Mostly for the song at the end. Also for the "Deep Dive" teaser they had for KH2.

Bah, I have no best ending. FF8, had a good ending, complete with a good soundtrack. Chrono Trigger had mutiple endings which always didn't make you really feel as if you completed the game as

and finaly, OoT's ending was probably the best one as it had everybody in celebration at the end and some sad moments here and there.

Best ending would go to OoT, but I have a slight problem witht he very last bit.

I can't help feeling it should've stopped with the view of the Master Sword - that felt like the end. But the blasted thing kept on going, didn't it?
