Best party member in Paper Mario?

In paper mario you get party members, which one do you think is the best?

I haven't played Paper Mario... But the best one in The Thousand-Year Door is Goombella. Her advice is just priceless. But I suppose that's a little off-topic.

All of the party members are very useful for different situations, and using the right party members will make some of your fights much easier than if you were to just stick with a "best" one. That said, Parakarry may be one of the best, simply because of his versatility.

I hated them all and spent most of that game wishing I could travel alone. The same is happening with The Thousand Year Door.

Parakerry was definatly my favorite. He had spunk. I was just a little disappointed that you get him so late in the game.

What? You get him around Dry Dry Desert, which is the second chapter after the prologue. Pretty early.

Whoops. Which one was the one in the Cloud (can't think what they are called for the life of me) that you found in Flower Fields? Looks like he isn't even on the poll.

Yeah, his name is Spike, hes really useful but i still prefer Parakarry.

Crud! I forgot all about Spike (Who's real name is acually Lakelester). I don't know how to spell his name.

Ms. Mowz is in Paper Mario 2: The Thousand-Year Door. It's a different game; this poll is about Paper Mario 64.

I like Kooper... because I like his attacks, and the fact that he can first-strike very easily.

Where the hell is Sushie!! She was so awesome with her water pump attack. I voted for Bow, the second best character. Slap 'em good, Bow.

Oh..Sorry But sushie was really cool! When she attacked it looked like really angry.

i liked keeping Bow around...

if this were Paper Mario 2, i'd have to go with the little Yoshi since he transport Mario around faster...

I liked Bow the best. In the 1000 year door, my fav was vivian

Now just plop anything that involvs paper mario 1 and 2 in this thread.

I liked Bow the best. Her hide ability saved me from bad attacks from anti-guy and the Huff N. Puff.

I love Kooper, Bombette, and Sushi.
