Chrono Trigger

Do you guys know Chrono Trigger on the SNES. I think it was one of the best games ever made. I still like it very much. Very nice graphics, storyline, characters and battle system. What do you guys thought of the game? (If you can buy this game, BUY IT)

This game was amazing for its time, even to today most RPG's can't beat its storyline and gameplay, too easy though and there aren't that many customizable doodads, but the music and multiple endings are top notch.

Chrono Trigger was great, though I didn't play it too much. I remember playing it on ROM years ago on my Pentium 133 Packard Bell... those were the days.

The SNES had some great games. Really great games. Nothing since has been able to topple the SNES in my opinion.

Up to date, I still play CT on my computer. I'd have to rank it like this.

This was a great game and was from my point of view the only better RPG compared to this(excluding FF) would have to be Chrono cross. That game is nice and long, good graphics, and so on.

Where the hell do you get 6 out of 10 for length? In case you didn't know, it had 12 (or 13, can't remember) alternate endings.

As for a review, a friend of mine wrote one for my site, and it pretty much sums up how I feel about the game.

I've said it many times, yes I have played it and yes it is an awsome game. To this day, I still play it on my emulator and has inspired me in role-playing also.

It's funny that people are talking about the sound. If you check out any video game remix sites, I'd put money that your top three series for music remixing are:
Legend of Zelda
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy

The music in Chrono Trigger is awesome. The different instruments and melodies are really well done. Personally, I'd hold the audio at a minimum of 8. Sometimes the shrieks can be a little off, but the sounds of the swords and other items are spot on.

I've actually been playing Chrono Trigger for the past week, and it's a game that's just priceless. Magus is probably my favorite character, just because of his ties with Lavos and his history. I just wish his pants looked different, lol.

I think the reason why they're giving sound such a low grade is reuse

I've been playing it this past week or two, and I keep hearing the same sounds agian, and again (they sound good, just a little overused)

other than that, I find the game to be in ultimate perfection, and I think it should be ported to GBA

I've only played the soecial edition one for the PS, it has great movies graphics that I think are made from the guy who made the art for DBZ. But the game was great. One of the best games ever I do agree ^_^ My favorite character is Magus and Frog.
