Estimated price of Revolution?

What would you estimate the price of the Nintendo Evolution of Revoltion (or whatever its called)? I want to start saving. Already $365 canadian dollars in the bank!

Did you even concider once where this would fit?

I'd say a good price for launch would be around $250-300 Canadian, considering the price of the GameCube when it came out. Nintendo's been pricing themselves lower lately, so it's likely going to be cheaper than the competition at launch.

So yeah, you've got plenty of time to save up.

it most definatly will be lower, they are competing against PS3, Microsoft's system will have already been out, what does Nintendo have? for the most part, Zelda, and lower price.... they have to... If nintendo sells for the same price as PS3, there is no way they will be able to compete with Sony... Microsoft is not really a worry for myself however, they are coming too early, noone will want to buy it, they all just spent a ****load on Halo2, those who will buy the next Xbox, Xenon or w/e, will be former Xbox players, and some PS2 players, I don't see Cube owners switching sides, they normally are more fan boy based.

It's a bit early to tell. It depends on what it will use, but I reckon it'll be about €180

Impossible to tell, really. We don't know what it looks like, what it includes, what sort of wierd technology it might use, what materials are required, how much Nintendo is willing to lose per console, etc., etc.

Heck, we don't even know if it will fit our usual definition of "console".


That said, I'm wiling to bet that it will be 250$ or 300$, American dollars.

Personally LoS I think that will be the PS3s price, and Nintendo will be lower by maybe 25 bucks.... MAYBE, and I mean MAYBE, 50..

even Microsoft is aware Nintendo is sellin pretty well because of their low price, why do you think they've excluded the Harddrive in their next system? The harddrive is a damn good idea for a console for quick loading.

Microsoft are losing the harddrive, because apparently it costs too much and devs haven't took advantage of it (I think the only game that has its Blinx) its just been used as a fancy memory card

My estimated price might be about 350$$ since it uses a new kind of technology. However, it is still quite difficult to make a decision as of yet.

I hope you mean $350 in some other currency than the american dollar.. I really don't think it can cost but soo much because then you start to hit the cost of a computer, which has a much faster processor and better graphics and can do other stuff like get online and word process and such.

I would say $200, $250 at max.

My guess is that it will be $250 American. This is just a guess though. If it really is as big of a revolution as they are talking about it could be alot more. I think we can make our real guesses after E3 and no time sooner. Wait and see like always .
