Sorts of games

I love adventure games like Zelda and Prince of Persia Warrior Within, but I also love strategy games like Command&Conquer, Battle for Middle Earth and Warhammer 40000 Dawn of War. I think action games are too one sided, although some of them are nice (like Goldeneye Rogue Agent). Puzzle games are boring and arcade games are somethimes fun. What do you guys think

I like adventures and platform games. Well made adventure games have many different things to do along with a great involving story.

I don't have much interest in action games such as shooters though. just shooting things isn't very appealing to me.

First Person Shooters are my personal favorite. I also like games like Grand Theft Auto though. There is just something about killing anything that moves that relieves stress. I don't really like sports games, with the exception of SSX Tricky. SSX was ok, Tricky was amazing, but SSX3 ruined it in my opinion. I also love millipede and other arcade games. Arcade games are just sooooo addictive and I love them. All the old mario side scrollers are awesome as well, and of course I can't forget Duck Hunt! So I like a pretty wide variety of games. Basically the only games I wont play are sports games.

You mean genres? Weeell, I like many different games.

I like all the Mario/Metroid/Zelda/etc. things made by Nintendo, real adventure games (those like Monkey Island and Grim Fandango) and just about anything that has originality, length and a great gameplay.

I avoid most of the FPS games, because there hasn't been anything new in those games for years (not including Metroid Prime, of course). They all look same to me. I don't like most of the sports games either, because they're usually too realistic. I just don't like realism, because it's not fun. I also haven't looked much into the world of RPGs. They're probably OK, but I always tend to find some more interesting games.

Of course, if I find a FPS that doesn't replay all the old clichés over and over again, or a sports game that doesn't obey the laws of physics too strictly, it's always worth a try.

I like the most Adveture games like Mario, Zelda and Metroid etc. Also RPG's like Golden Sun, i love them. (Golden Sun is one of my favourite games).

Fighting games I don't like very much, but SSBM is different, i like it very much.

I don't have many FPS games, but i like them. My favourite FPS is Medal of Honor: Frontline.

Then finally Driving games, I don't like them at all.

I like games like Civislation and I do enjoy the odd FPS like Goldeneye & Halo 2.
And acourse adventure/rpg.

If you're talking about genre, mine is a mix. RPG, FPS, RTS, adventure, fighting/action, and maybe JUST MAYBE one or two sports games.

Action-RPG's: Such as teh Seiken Densetsu series. I love most RPG elements, but hate turn-based gameplay. That's why Action-RPG's really appeal to me.

Action/Adventure: Zelda, Metroid, Castlevania.

Shooters: Combat is fun. Halo, Perfect Dark and SOCOM rank as my favs in this genre.

RPG's of any kind. I adore plot-driven games and any kind of RPG battle system generally appeals to me, whether it be real-time or turn based.

Strategy (RPG's) - games like Fire Emblem, Disgaea, and Final Fantasy Tactics. RPG's with strategy elements. The best S-RPG's seem to be among my favorite games, and tend to have the best stories, in my opinion, at least.

Action/Adventure games. Tenchu, Zelda, Starfox (the starfighting ones, anyways)- that kind of stuff. Fun games that rely more on gameplay than plot - but still have a good backstory.

Yeah, I'm all about storylines. I love a good story in a game. Coupled with great gameplay - and you've got a kick-ass game, that you do.

RPGs!!!! ...squarenix games mostly. (that also includes any of the older games be either square or enix, both are good)

I also like some strategy games. My favorite kinds are strategy RPGs, like FFT (for PS /not/ on GBA) and Disgaea.

I suck at FPS. I usualy just wind up standing there shooting in circles untill i run out of ammo or die. ...not very fun at all

i liek a good fighter....but i l0o0o0o0ove the final fantasy games...a good driver doesnt hurt either
