Re: mario 64 ds

It's the exact same is the original Mario 64. I personally find it much easier, especially if you play as Luigi... There's just added "castle secret stars" and that's about it. Fun to waste a week or two on, but other then that nothing special.

Re: mario 64 ds

I heard that Mario 64ds has a new level added as well as more stars and extra characters. Other than that, its the same game that we all loved back in 96

Re: mario 64 ds

I got it,and yeah theres newer...well "mini" levels but only 4,and three of those are to rescue Mario,Luigi, and Wario. The Multi's a blast. I play every afternoon with my friends and we're scattered around the bus.You got yoshi's eatin' yoshi's and Warioshi throwing those around...all for the first star!Good times man, good times....

Re: mario 64 ds

Well my friend has it and he and I play it during German... when we should be learning.. oh well.. Anyways I find the controls to be a little bit too sketchy [it requires that you hold down the y button] and it is very time consuming to have to change characters. It was a good game for the 64, I still play it on the 64, and I dislike the port.

Re: mario 64 ds

Well, I have played it on my friends and frankly I don't really like it. I remember playing the N64 one I got one day for Easter, and it just seemed more enjoyable. But not that the DS isnt good, I just think they over did it on the DS-what with the new characters and all.

Re: mario 64 ds

I like it all, luigi is fun to play as, I can't stand yoshi. The controls are really easy to me, dunno how people are complaining about them. They just added characters and more secret stars. If you have a DS, get it.
