Zelda or Kingdom Hearts?

K, I know that this is a Zelda website, but I also know that many people who like Zelda also like Kingdom Hearts. So which is better?

(See title) I gotta admit, Kingdom Hearts was one of the best games I've ever played (or beaten), but Zelda RULES!!! :cool:

Good question actually. The good answer in my opinion?
Can't decide! They are both awesome, and they are almost completely diffrent. So certain aspects of the games are better than others.

Zelda. Definitely.
Kingdom Hearts had a good battle system, I'll give it that. But I really hated the whole Squaresoft/Disney thing. And Sora got on my nerves really quickly. And it's just stupid that that kid can beat Cloud and Sephiroth.

Despite the fact that they're both totally different kinds of games, I'd go for Kingdom Hearts any day. And posting a question like this in a Zelda forum is not the best idea, either. This thread also belongs in General Gaming.

Zelda all the way. I've played and beated all Zelda games (except for FS and tMC) and I have only played one section of Kingdom Hearts. There's no way that one game will turn the tides for me, especially up against a game that's been with us for years (just as old as I'am).

Zelda hands down. Kingdom hearts just gets really boring to me.

Well KH is an RPG, as it has levelling up elements... but the combat is more similar to Zelda than something like Final Fantasy, I guess.

I don't even know why these two are being compared, but I'd go for Kingdom Hearts. It has more depth than Zelda. Not to say I dislike the Zelda games, of course.

As has been stated before, they are hard to compare since they are of different genres, not to mention Zelda is a much larger series, since KH only has like 2 games within the series. But anyways, I choose Zelda.

I couldn't really take Kingdom Hearts very seriously, with the huge feet and Disney characters. The story of the first was okay, but I didn't particulary care for it much. I wasn't really motivated to play it all the way through either.

Zelda on the other hand, has brought me some of my favorite games such as A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask. Although these are not perfect, they have much more going for them then KH as far as what I look for in a video game.

They're both great titles in thier own genre/respects, I like both quite a bit. But yeah, Kingdom Hearts.

I liked them both, but to me playing Kingdom Hearts was like playing through all the disney cartoons so it bored me a little. Zelda's story keeps my interest the all way through.

Zelda: Action adventure game.

KH: Action RPG.


They're simply not comparable; not even in the same genre. I hate kingdom hearts (no strategy is fun!1!) but I wouldn't Zelda is better becuase they both do different things.
