I NEED HELP!(not in a game)

OK, my mom says that she will buy me a new game system if I get an A in English. I DONT KNOW WHICH ONE TO GET! GBA SP or Nintendo DS? Comeon people I could really use ur help here.

Nintendo DS can play GBA Games, so that might help, but I don't have DS or SP. But I would get DS because it plays GBA games, and DS Games with better backlit screens etc. Though GBA SP can hook up to Gamecube, play older GB games and use Multiplayer GBA.DS has a better sound system and colour. I'd get DS.

Betting on grades. Hey, I won 200$ from it and bought myself a DS.
Get a DS because it can support GBA games. And the GBA will be obsolite (big word good for English class) in a while.

The GBA wont be obsolete. Too many people want to play their old GB and GBC games for it to die. Not to mention the DS isnt the next GB. Nintendo has said they are developing another GB system.

Some company like Action Replay will develop an emulator for the DS to play GB original games. Theyall also probably make a few more things also to make the GBA obsolete.

get the DS. I have one it is awsome. plus if you show your friends they will stear at all of its sparking glory for hours .*sparkly, sparkly*.

The GBA will never be obsolete. It's the grand-daddy of handheld consoles and games. Nintendo said the DS will be a third pillar alongside the GameCube and SP, it didn't say it's the next GBA and that they want it to be a successor to it.

get a DS they are newer and cooler. you can get all the cool older games from nintendo on it like mario 64, and other 64 games.

The rest are right though. For now, the better handheld is the DS because it can play it own games and GBA games. But don't expect to see playback features like that in the next DS. Nintendo only used it to give the DS a jump-start. The next DS won't be able to play GBA games.
