Kingdom hearts: Chain of memories.

I'm looking to buy this game, but I'm pretty sure there's a prequel, right? If I were to buy Chain of memories without playing the prequel, would this kind of ruin it? And even if ity doesn't, is the prequel itself a fun game?

What do some of you think. BTW, over all how good are these games? I've heard some good things about them.

I think there is a KH: CoM thread already, but meh...

The original KH was on the PS2. If you have one, buy it. It's a masterpiece. If you don't, then the closest you'll get is CoM, although it's not as great as it's 3D brother.

I never played KH on PS2, but I played KH: CoM. It's worth getting it.
All I did was asked around about the previous game and got some background information. I am sure you will enjoy playing this game.
