I knew about the one on the Mega Drive, but not the others. And if the others were anything like that one, the PC equivalents are better.

(Also - I FINALLY found people on this site who knew what Worms was without me telling them first! )

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012

Adding me on steam this year may result in something awesome!
I'm going to do giveaways thanks to these Steam Fund cards I've been given and I just can't use em all for myself.
You never know what to expect.

Hate that crap. Same thing with the Batman games (Arkham Asylum & Arkham City) if they ever go on sale. Limited installs, Securom, etc. I bought both of them not knowing this a while back and I've already lost a couple installs because I forgot to use the revoke tool. So stupid considering Steam itself is already DRM.

Avoid at all costs when they go on sale this summer even though they are great games unless you're ok with just renting them since that's all you're essentially doing.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012

I got the Half Life 1 Anthology and Half Life Source for a little over 6$.

I already have the Orange Box so getting Half Life Complete (10$) wasn't worth it. I've been meaning to play the original Half-Life for ages. Definitely worthwhile to get the complete if you have none of the games.

You really should play the Source version. The lighting improvements make a world of difference, plus it's less buggy on whole. You sacrifice the high-detail models but, honestly, that doesn't really look better to begin with.

I'm somewhat interested in Worms and Super Street Fighter, but apart from that there's nothing on sale today that I'm like RAHH MUST OWN. But it seems like a decent selection! Good job, Valve.

Meh, I'll just play a little of each and see which one I prefer.

So far I got Max Payne 1-2 and the original Half-Life games for like 10$ in total. Pretty good . I'm happy with the sale thus far.

None of the community choices appeal to me this time around. I already have Revelations.

this is accurate right

Also new community choices are up! BioShock 2 is one of the options and it can go to -75% off if it wins.
THAT IS THE ONE YOU SHOULD BE VOTING FOR PEOPLE

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012

I haven't beaten a single game I've bought on Steam except for Portal 1 and 2.

No real reason for me to buy more games now that I won't play.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2012

All things I've bought have been Community's Choice(Trine 2) and Flash Sales.
None of the "Today's Deals" have been interesting enough for me to bother about em.

EDIT: I can't seem to get a picture of Assassin's Creed: Revelations as the Community's Choice. The little guy shows up instead..

is there anything that someone wants me to vote for? I'm going to vote, but don't give a damn about the current options.

I'm basically done my spending at this point. There are a few other things I'll look into if they go cheap and I'm going to watch, but otherwise I've basically got my fill
