New Console: The Ouya!

I'm paying attention. Entertainment is all about content, and with the relatively low specs the Ouya is gonna have to pull out some pretty interesting and plentiful content in order to be relevant in the world of high-spec consoles.

What I'm hoping for is low-spec games with heaps and heaps of content.

So...this is a wee console for downloadable games only? Like you buy games online and download them to this console and junk? Nice...ok...

What kind of games is this thing supposed to have in its repertoire? Stupid Angry Birds junk or...like fun stuff? I saw something about older games being released...so like a Virtual Console?

Either way, its a good idea but...im kinda with Khao. Id rather there be less consoles out there right now lol. Ill keep an ear out for this...thing but like, yeah.

EDIT: After reading its website and junk, i do like this idea. Console gaming SHOULD be cheaper. SO this has my...mild interest.

After reading the website, I must say that the Ouya has my full attention. I'm very much looking forward to it!

I really like the idea, but so far it feels like an oversized smartphone at this stage.
I hope they can kick off this without any problems and we might see a change from the Big 3 in how they think when developers starts to shift to it.


If it happens to get out....wonder if they'll change to Jelly Bean once it's available or will they continue on their own speciallymade ICS?

I have no interest in this. Doesn't sound like it'll be a real contender in the console wars.
