I've never played the N64.

In all the days we have played video games, the majority of us have followed standard protocol. Most of us on this forum have played an N64 at least once, right? Well I didn't. Not once to my knowledge. I had a PS1 growing up, and by the time I started to focus on games the NGC and PS2 were already out.

So I pose a question: What video game norms have you actually never done? Have you too, passed up the opportunity to play the N64? Are there some key video game titles that you've never actually played? Anything of the sort.

I was an N64 kid but after that my Dad bought me a PS2 and so I missed out on the Gamecube. The only Gamecube game I own is The Wind Waker which I bought to play on my Wii last summer. I also never had a DS, but I've got a 3DS now which I can play DS games on so it's not too bad.

Xbox and Halo. I've seen it, never played it.

Any Sega system past the Genesis was something i never really experienced. I did play a Dreamcast but it was very brief and i played Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Power Stone. And even then...it was brief. (i dont even remember playing a Master System. Ever...)

I have barely even touched an Xbox of any iteration. I played a whole of two minutes of Halo or something once. Sure, ive seen games being played on the 360, but never really played one myself.

That too, but I don't feel like I missed out on much.

Being a Tim Schafer fan I have never played Day of the Tentacle or Full Throttle, which is quite sad.

If Lucas Arts would stop being a bunch of raging ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s and release those games digitally like pretty much any other company would have already, I would've played them.

I've never played Portal. Or Half-Life. Or Half-Life 2. My friends all think I'm a failure as a gamer.

Save for a few fighting games and like 5 seconds of Metal Gear Solid 2, I have never played any PS2 games. This is something I want to change eventually.

I sadly missed out on the SNES and was all about the Genesis instead.

No regrets though. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 & 3. Golden Axe. ♥♥♥♥ yeah!

I also haven't played NES or SNES. Mainly because for the obvious reason.

I WASN'T BORN YET!!!

But it doesn't matter I have ALttp on the GBA, TLOZ and AoL on the NGC and Mega Man X on the Virutal Console. Though sadly, I've still yet to play Super Castlevania IV.

I haven't played a Sega console to this day. Really want to try the Genesis at least, hope I can find one used and working.

Genesis is the bomb! But if you can't get your hands on one, there's always the Wii Virtual Console.

Also, I highly recommend the Sonic Mega Collection (multiplatform last gen)!

Never touched a Sega after the first one, and completely missed out on PS2 because I was too dedicated to being a Nintendo....fan, I suppose?
I also had the first Xbox but I sold it after a while as I found it just...boring in most aspects.
Can't say I care much for missing out on PS2 though..I mean, it's not like you necessarily have to play every good game out there. Perfection in a gaming library is not an easy or necessary goal for every gamer.

I've never played: Anything before the N64, (select games, such as Zelda, on ports later on though) the Playstation Series, the XBox series, the PSP series...yeah, I've pretty been been a Nintendo fanboy for my entire life. I've also neglecting PC gaming, with me having just gotten into games such as Minecraft and Team Fortress 2.

We've all got to miss something.

Yes but there are some games that are worth the time.

Probably, if they're not too outdated..

As for my absence of Playstation games, in fact, the PS3 is my first PS console

I dunno about Spyro..but Crash, I played plenty of that at other kid's houses that had a PS1 :p Good times
