Do you want me to name anymore? I mean, I enjoy the first Legend of Zelda a lot, but I can name a ton of games better than it.

Hey now. No need to act like a fanboy. After all, there are some people who love games like Call of Duty and Battlefield, and don't like Zelda at all. Which is fine.

I'd say that Zelda is the best game-for-game franchise in the industry, and will likely remain that for a long time.

However, for the sake of a meaningful post, there are two games that I unquestionably feel are better than Zelda even when Zelda has been at its absolute best--

Mario Galaxy
Resident Evil 4

There's loads of other games that I feel are comparable to Zelda when it's at its best, but only these two I can say with 100% confidence are superior.

Comparing Mario or Resident Evil with Zelda is like comparing peanuts to chocolate. They're both food, but you can't do that because they're completely different food groups.

However, there are a few that are on par: I really like the L4D games, and Portal 2 was really fun. I feel like a blasphemer for saying this, but I really don't play many video games. Zelda is the only series I will give money for at the drop of the hat.

Amen. This is me right here. I really don't play games a lot, but I will buy a Zelda game whenever I can.

Man, I loved that game. I beat that game from begining to end 12 times in a row. As soon as the credits dissappeared, I'd start a new file.

Blizz, I'm surprised you haven't said Mario yet.

Anyway, Zelda is my favorite franchise, but other than that, it'd probably be... either Mario or Fire Emblem.

A lot of Mario Games aren't that great. Mario 3, Galaxy 1 & 2 and Sunshine... that is it.
