Goldeneye 007 Online Thread!

Hey guys! Any of you out there still play Goldeneye 007 for the Wii? With this thread we can share online videos we made, discuss matches, and talk in general in order to hook up and have some fun!

Rules: This thread is NOT for discussion about which Goldeneye is better, or to talk about the game itself and its graphics being worse than the PS360 version and whatnot. Nor is this thread to ♥♥♥♥♥ about the game. This thread is for fun concerning online matches. If you can't handle that, please don't post in here. Thank you.

My current level is 53.

I do NOT claim to be a hardcore FPS guy, nor do I want to be involved with that crowd.

I still play very often! I'm level 15, and not that good, so that's why I play a lot of Goldeneye, as opposed to Heroes, because I am a lot better at hacking consoles than working offensively against my opponent. In fact, maybe I should start that up tomorrow.

I'm no one near the best at this game. I'm level... 12? ... and I haven't played in months. Hell, my 10 (11?) year-old cousin is better at the game than I am. That said, I love to play it anyway. For anyone interested, my FC is--

and my in-game name is "Adam," which is my real name. I do have an alt account under "zoraluigi" that I was going to do LPs on, but I never got a Dazzle or similar video capture device. I still want to LP, but not now. Maybe once I get a job.

I'll be honest, Blizz, I've been slacking a little online. No matter how many Heroes matches I own in, I can never get past level 31!

Once I get done with some other things I need done, I'll start picking up my pace with GE again. It's kinda weird now that 007chan is gone though.

I like the game a lot, but I don't play unless I'm playing with somebody, and none of my friends really like FPSs in general. It gets a lot more fun than just playing with strangers, even if I can't really talk to people anyway.

Can't remember my level or anything, but I know that I'm terrible I keep going on with the same strategy: go with the assault thing, grenade-shooting mode, shoot at the first moving thing I see, miss, die, respawn, repeat.

No, I wouldn't mind co-commenting on this video. If I can find a way, I will be able to co-commentate.

007chan, I read the comments on there before I even owned Goldeneye, and some of the players on there sounded really elitist.

Exactly. I don't mix well with elitists.

I like the Sewers. Probably that or the Archives.

It is because I am terrible at it. My worst stage by far. Most deaths in that stage.

I like sniping on the train.

It's a freaking obvious place to snipe, and everybody knows it.

But it works for some reason anyway.

Well, I don't mean the site in general, it's just that whenever I play online I barely see any clan members now. It's like a bunch of American citizens in the country even though the country doesn't exist anymore. Everyone playing just seems kind of random and unrelated.

Anyways, I'd say that my favorite map is Archives. I absolutely LOVE going on shotgun killing sprees in that map on Heroes. Easiest XP you can ever recieve.

My least favorite would have to be between Memorial and Sewers. Both are just WAY too dark, and with someone that has two skylight windows on the roof of his house to the point where the sun is always shining on the TV, it's not a fun experience for me. :/

Yeah, but I am usually the lucky one who gets the team with the darker outfit on that stage. Not always, though.

Archives. The enclosed space there makes for awesome killing sprees.
